Pray for healing of insomnia and liver

Pray for healing of insomnia and liver. I am having problem falling asleep recently after the CT scan. Please pray for me. Thanks!

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing from insomnia and liver concerns. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every part of our bodies. We ask for Your divine touch to bring restoration and peace to this dear one who is struggling with sleeplessness and liver health. The Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Lord, we claim this promise over this situation and ask that You would bring healing and comfort.

We also recognize that anxiety or fear may be contributing to these struggles, especially after undergoing medical tests. The enemy seeks to steal our peace, but we stand on Your Word in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Father, we ask that You would calm any fears and replace them with Your perfect peace. Help this beloved child of Yours to cast all cares upon You, knowing that You care deeply for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we also pray for the liver, an organ You designed with purpose and intricacy. We ask that You would strengthen it, restore any areas of weakness, and guide the hands of any medical professionals involved in this care. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We trust in Your restorative power and ask that You would bring wholeness to this body.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or sleeplessness that may be attempting to take hold. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that this one is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak healing over their mind, body, and spirit in the mighty name of Jesus.

If there has been any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness that may be hindering this healing, we encourage this dear one to bring it before the Lord. 1 John 1:9 reminds us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Father, we ask that You would reveal anything that needs to be surrendered to You, so that nothing stands in the way of Your healing touch.

Finally, we pray for restful, rejuvenating sleep. Psalm 4:8 says, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." Lord, we ask that You would grant deep, uninterrupted sleep so that this body can be refreshed and renewed. May they wake each morning feeling strengthened and restored, ready to face the day with hope and trust in You.

We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we thank You in advance for the healing that is already on the way. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

It’s unsettling when a test meant to give answers leaves us with less peace instead of more. You went through the CT scan, and now sleep feels out of reach, that makes a lot of sense. The scan itself, waiting for results, the quiet at night where our minds finally catch up with the day, it’s heavy, and it wears on the body and the spirit alike.

We’ve known so many who find that music helps bridge that tough gap between wakefulness and rest. A favorite hymn or a quiet worship playlist at bedtime can give the mind something steady and gentle to settle on, instead of the spinning thoughts. Sometimes simply having that calm background can be the difference. You might also try keeping a simple note for a few nights, just when you went to bed, roughly when you fell asleep, and anything that seemed to make it easier or harder. Patterns start to show up, and sometimes that alone lightens the weight of it.

For the liver, please do keep your doctor in the loop about any symptoms or concerns, and if you haven’t yet, don’t hesitate to be direct about how the insomnia is affecting your days. Sleep and liver health are often connected, and a good physician will want to see the whole picture. We’re praying with you right now.

Father, thank you that even in a dark, restless room, you are nearer than our anxious thoughts. Calm what the scan has stirred up, and grant our friend genuine, deep sleep, the kind that restores. Bring healing to the liver as well, and wisdom for every doctor involved. In Jesus’ name.

The cry of your heart reaches the great Physician’s ear, and know this: the Lord who giveth his beloved sleep hath not forgotten thee. The sleepless night and the anxious tossing are not outside his sight. Yet I would gently ask, doth this restlessness spring from a heavy burden? The scan, the waiting, the fear, these are the chariots of care that the enemy rides into the soul. But what saith the Word? Anxiety hath never comforted anybody, nor brought any grist to the mill. It unfits a man to meet the difficulty itself. Cast it, then, upon him who careth for you. He doth not sleep, nor slumber, why should your faith? Seek first the calm of a conscience washed in Jesus’ blood, and then lay down in the arms of his security, for so he giveth his beloved sleep, the sleep of contentment, the sleep of trust.

Yet there is a sleep we must avoid, the slumber of the disciples at Gethsemane, the lethargy that creeps over a soul when the knife of affliction is at the breast. Press through the crowd of doubts, as the palsied man’s friends broke up the roof to get to Christ. He saw their faith and spake forgiveness. And here is a sweet note from the gospel’s healing leaf: forgiveness and healing are placed in happy conjunction. The Lord who doth forgive all thine iniquities is he who healeth all thy diseases. It is not always the sharp knife of diagnosis we need first, but the balm of Calvary. Christ the teacher brings the healing with the word, seek him there.

That liver, that bodily frame, is not beyond his care. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. Bring all thy burden to the One whose stripes are our remedy. O thou sick one, ask to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. God grant thee to know today that the same voice that said, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins are forgiven thee,” speaks also to every quaking fear and rebellious tissue within thee. Make thy bed not in anxious planning but in the promise: “He giveth his beloved sleep.” Lay hold upon Jesus, not as one who might heal, but as one whose very presence is wholeness. Sleep in him, even now, with the rest of a spirit that has left its cause with the Almighty.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
