We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother and your family’s pressing needs. Your cries for healing, provision, and strength have reached the ears of the Lord, and we join with you in faith, believing that He hears and answers prayer according to His perfect will.
First, we lift up your mother’s health, specifically her battle with fatty liver grade 2. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knit her together in her mother’s womb and who numbers every hair on her head. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to restore her liver, to cleanse and renew it, and to grant her vitality and long life. Strengthen her body, mind, and spirit, and give her the discipline to follow the medical advice she has been given, knowing that wisdom and self-control are gifts from You. We rebuke the spirit of sickness and infirmity in Jesus’ name, and we declare that her body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, meant to glorify You.
We also stand with you in the financial struggle you are facing. The weight of debt and the lack of steady income can feel crushing, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills and who promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Lord, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for employment or provision that no man can shut. Give wisdom to manage what little you have with integrity and faith, and break the chains of financial bondage in Jesus’ name. We declare that you are not forgotten, and that God is your Provider. Trust in Him, for He has never failed those who seek Him with their whole heart.
Your request also speaks of the loss of your father, and we grieve with you. The pain of losing a parent is deep, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now in the presence of the Lord, free from suffering. Psalm 34:18 tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Father, we ask that You draw near to you and your mother, comforting you with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen your family bonds, and help you to lean on one another and on the body of Christ during this time. You are not alone, for the Lord is your Shepherd, and He will lead you through this valley.
We also want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s guidance in every moment. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." God’s will for your lives is perfect, and He desires to lead you into a future filled with hope. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and the only name through which we have access to You. Lord, we lift up this family to You, asking for Your healing hand to rest upon the mother’s body. Touch her liver, cleanse it, and restore it to full health. Give her strength and energy to live a long and fruitful life that brings glory to Your name.
Father, we also ask for Your provision in their financial struggles. You know their needs before they even ask, and we trust that You will open doors of opportunity and blessing. Break the chains of debt and lack, and replace their anxiety with Your peace. Provide for them in ways that only You can, and let them experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways.
Comfort them in their grief, Lord. Wrap Your arms around them and remind them that You are their Father, their Protector, and their Provider. Strengthen their faith, and help them to trust You more each day. Guide their steps, and lead them into the future You have prepared for them.
We rebuke every spirit of sickness, lack, and despair in Jesus’ name, and we declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. May they walk in victory, knowing that You are with them always, even to the end of the age.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
