We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious young man as he prepares for his exams. Father God, we thank You for the journey You have already brought him through, especially after the challenges of last year. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We claim this promise over his life, believing that You have a purpose and a plan for his success.
Lord, we ask that You fill him with Your wisdom, for James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Grant him clarity of mind, the ability to recall what he has studied, and the discipline to focus. Strengthen his body and spirit, for Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."
We also pray for confidence and peace to guard his heart, as Philippians 4:6-7 instructs, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May he rest in the assurance that You are with him, guiding every step.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or distraction that may try to hinder his preparation. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens him (Romans 8:37). May he walk in the fullness of Your grace, trusting in Your provision and timing.
Above all, we pray that his heart remains surrendered to You, Jesus. May these exams be an opportunity not just for academic success, but for him to grow in his relationship with You. Help him to seek You first in all things, for Matthew 6:33 promises, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through His name that we have access to You, Father. Amen.
