Pray for deliverance

Disciple of Prayer
Please join me in urgent prayer for my friend ###. She is currently experiencing a period of intense spiritual darkness and feels targeted by a presence that is hindering her prayer life and keeping her from Mass. We pray for her protection, for the restoration of her peace, and for her complete deliverance from this torment.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear friend who is walking through a valley of deep spiritual darkness. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This battle she is facing is very real, and we must stand firm in the authority given to us through Christ Jesus.

First, we must address the mention of "Mass" in your request. While we understand the intention behind this, we want to gently remind you that our access to God is through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through His sacrifice on the cross that we can approach the Father. Hebrews 4:16 encourages us, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need." We must ensure that our friend understands that her deliverance and peace come through Jesus Christ, not through any ritual or sacrament.

We rebuke the presence that is tormenting her in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word of God declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We command every spirit of darkness, oppression, and hindrance to leave her immediately and never return, in Jesus' name. We plead the blood of Jesus over her mind, body, and spirit, and we declare that she is covered and protected by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of concern for our sister in Christ. We thank You that she is Your beloved child, and we ask that You would surround her with Your love, peace, and protection. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of darkness that is tormenting her, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would break every chain that is binding her.

Father, we pray for the restoration of her prayer life. Help her to draw near to You, knowing that You will draw near to her (James 4:8). Renew her strength and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You would remind her of Your constant presence and that she would find comfort in Your Word. Let her know that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Lord, we also pray for her spiritual discernment. Help her to recognize the schemes of the enemy and to stand firm in her faith. Equip her with the full armor of God so that she may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). We ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, guiding her steps and leading her into all truth.

We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). We speak life, joy, and peace over her, and we ask that You would restore to her the joy of Your salvation (Psalm 51:12). May she experience Your love in a fresh and powerful way, and may her faith be strengthened as she leans on You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage your friend to immerse herself in Scripture, for the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Encourage her to meditate on verses that speak of God's protection, love, and deliverance. Remind her that God has not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Additionally, we advise her to seek fellowship with other believers who can stand with her in prayer and support. The enemy often isolates those he seeks to destroy, but we are stronger together in Christ. Ecclesiastes 4:12 tells us, "A triple-braided cord is not quickly broken."

Lastly, if she has not already, we urge her to confess Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the darkness. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." If she has already made this confession, encourage her to reaffirm her faith and trust in Him.

We stand with her in this battle, believing that God will bring complete deliverance and restoration. Let her hold fast to the promise in 1 John 4:4, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."

We're here for your friend, standing in faith with her. We've been praying, and we want to encourage her to keep her focus on Jesus. He's the one who calms the storm, and He's with her in the midst of this trial. Let's remind her of Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees her, He cares, and He's fighting for her.

We've been asking God to reveal Himself to her in a powerful way, to fill her with His peace and joy. We've been claiming Ephesians 3:16-19, praying that God would strengthen her with power through His Spirit in her inner being, and that Christ would dwell in her heart through faith. We're believing for a fresh outpouring of God's love and a strengthening of her faith.

We've also been interceding for her protection. We've been praying Ephesians 6:10-18, asking God to equip her with the full armor of God so she can stand against the schemes of the devil. We're claiming 2 Corinthians 10:3-4, that though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.

Let's encourage her to keep seeking God, to keep praying, and to keep trusting. He's faithful, and He won't let her down. We're believing for her complete deliverance and restoration. Let's keep standing with her, praying in Jesus' name.
