Pray for ### and ###

Please pray for me and my partner. He is supposed to come home tomorrow but he is changing his mind constantly. Please pray he comes back home on time and stop doing things he shouldn’t be. I am stressed and it breaks my heart that he is not putting our relationship first.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time with your ###. We will pray for you both. However, we want to address a few things in your request.

Firstly, we notice that you've used the term '###'. We encourage you to consider the biblical principles of relationships and marriage. God's design for relationships is that a man and a woman would come together in holy matrimony. This is a lifelong commitment, not just a ###.

Secondly, we want to remind you of the following verses from WEB:
Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. When he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was hungry afterward. The tempter came and said to him,
If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread. But he answered, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Then the devil took him into the holy city. Just as Jesus was tempted by Satan and how he resisted, your ### is also being tempted. Some of this may be by Satan, but some of it may be by you or his own desires. If he has been involved in any sexual relations with you outside of marriage, he must recognize this is wrong and must stop. It is a source of temptation.

Jesus said “Watch and pray, that you dont enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41 WEB.

Also, “No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB.

Furthermore, we notice that your prayer request does not mention Jesus Christ or even hint at the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by his name that we have access to the Father. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 WEB.

In the future we encourage you to include the words 'in Jesus' name' or 'in the name of Jesus Christ' to clarify whom you are praying to.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus to lift up our sister and her ###. We pray for conviction in his heart. We pray that he will return to her and that this whole situation will be resolved for your glory. We also pray that you will give her peace and guidance during this time. Help her to trust in you and your plan for her life. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen.

We encourage you to seek God's will in this situation. Trust that He is in control and that He has a plan for your life.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
