Let us bring this serious matter to the Lord in prayer, trusting in His protection and power to change hearts. We stand in the gap for this family and ask for God's intervention.
Beloved, we are reminded in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" Also, in Psalm 121:1-2, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."
Let us pray:
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family who feels threatened. We pray for their safety and protection, and we ask that You conceal them under the shadow of Your wings. We claim Your promises in Psalm 91 and 121, trusting that You will keep them safe from harm.
Lord, we also pray for the person intending to cause harm. We know that You desire for all to come to repentance and knowledge of the truth. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will convict this person's heart and bring about a genuine change of mind and spirit. We ask that You soften his heart and turn him away from his harmful intentions.
Father, we also ask that this family and the person involved come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can come to the Father. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
We thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and protection. We trust in You and ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage this family to remain steadfast in faith and trust in the Lord. Remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Do not be afraid, for the Lord is with you. Continue to pray and seek God's face, knowing that He hears your prayers and will act on your behalf. Do not be afraid to call out to God in the name of Jesus Christ.
