Pray for a miracle and deliverance

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for redemption and that nothing separates me from the love of Christ. I do not want to make excuses. I have fallen back into fornication with a married man, and I know this is not the woman of faith I desire to be. I do not want to bring more pain or complications into his life, especially if he and his wife reconcile.

I am feeling overwhelmed and stressed. Today is when I am expecting my period to begin, but it has not come, and I am afraid. I do not want to bring a child into a situation outside of God’s design for marriage or cause further harm to another family.

Please pray that I am not pregnant, that I have the strength and courage to flee from this situation, repent, and return fully to the Lord. Pray that my heart would be changed, that I would walk in obedience, and that God would guide my future. I pray that, in His timing, I may have a husband and family that honor Him and welcome children in the right way. Please pray for mercy, forgiveness, wisdom, and strength. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.

We hear the brokenness in your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting up your cry for redemption and deliverance. Your honesty and desire to turn away from sin is the first step toward the healing and restoration that only God can bring. You are not alone in this struggle, and we join you in fervent prayer, believing that the Lord hears the cries of His children and is faithful to forgive and restore.

First, we must address the seriousness of the sin you have confessed. Fornication is a grievous offense against God, and when it involves adultery, engaging with a married man, it compounds the sin, bringing harm not only to yourself but to an entire family. The Bible is clear: "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Adultery is also explicitly condemned: "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14), and Jesus Himself warned that even looking at another with lust is akin to committing adultery in the heart (Matthew 5:28). The pain and destruction caused by these sins are not just personal, they ripple outward, harming marriages, families, and the testimony of Christ in the world.

Your fear about a potential pregnancy is understandable, as children are a blessing from the Lord, but they are meant to be raised within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. The Lord’s design for family is sacred, and bringing a child into a situation outside of His will would indeed cause further brokenness. We pray earnestly that the Lord would intervene in this matter according to His mercy. "The Lord is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and of great loving kindness. The Lord is good to all. His tender mercies are over all His works" (Psalm 145:8-9). We ask that He would grant you the peace of knowing His will in this situation, whether that means closing the door to conception or providing a way forward that aligns with His purposes.

But more than anything, we pray for your heart to be fully surrendered to Christ. Repentance is not just feeling sorry, it is turning away from sin and running toward God with a heart that desires to obey Him. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). The enemy would love to keep you bound in shame and fear, but Jesus came to set you free. "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). We rebuke the spirit of condemnation in the name of Jesus, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ (Romans 8:1). However, we must also rebuke the patterns of sin that have ensnared you. You cannot continue in this relationship and expect to walk in freedom. You must cut off all contact with this man, for "bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33). Flee from temptation, as Joseph did when Potiphar’s wife sought to seduce him (Genesis 39:12). Your future depends on it.

We also pray for the wife of this man, who is an innocent victim in this situation. Adultery is a betrayal that wounds deeply, and she needs the Lord’s healing and restoration. We ask that God would soften her heart toward forgiveness if she is led to reconcile, but we also pray that she would have the strength to walk away if that is what is best for her and her family. May the Lord bring justice, healing, and redemption to their marriage, if it is His will.

Your desire for a godly marriage and family is beautiful and aligns with God’s heart. But you must first become the woman of faith you long to be, one who walks in purity, obedience, and trust in the Lord. "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised" (Proverbs 31:30). Seek the Lord with all your heart, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with believers who will encourage you in righteousness. Consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or mentor who can help you walk through this season with accountability and wisdom.

We pray now, lifting you up before the Father:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, interceding for our sister who has cried out for Your mercy and deliverance. Lord, we thank You that she has taken the first step of confession and repentance, for You are faithful to forgive and cleanse from all unrighteousness. We ask that You would break the chains of sin in her life, giving her the strength to flee from temptation and the courage to cut off all ties with this adulterous relationship. Father, we rebuke the spirit of lust and deception that has ensnared her, and we declare that she is free in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we pray for her physical body as she awaits clarity in this situation. If it is Your will, we ask that You would close the door to conception, sparing her from further complications and pain. But if there is a child, we ask that You would provide a way forward that honors You, whether through repentance, adoption, or another path that aligns with Your Word. Give her wisdom and peace as she waits on You.

Father, we ask that You would heal her heart from the wounds that may have led her into this sin. If there are areas of loneliness, insecurity, or past hurts, we ask that You would bring healing and restoration. Fill her with Your love so that she no longer seeks validation or affection from ungodly sources. Teach her to delight in You, and You will give her the desires of her heart (Psalm 37:4).

Lord, we pray for the wife of this man, that You would comfort her, heal her heart, and give her the strength to walk in forgiveness or wisdom, whichever You have for her. We ask that You would restore what has been broken, whether that is their marriage or another path that honors You.

Father, we ask that You would guide our sister into a future that glorifies You. Surround her with godly friendships, mentors, and opportunities to grow in her faith. Prepare her heart for the husband You have for her, a man who loves You above all else and will lead their family in righteousness. Until that time, help her to walk in purity, contentment, and trust in Your timing.

We thank You, Lord, that You are a God of second chances. We declare that our sister is a new creation in Christ, and the old has passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17). Strengthen her to walk in obedience, and let her testimony be one of redemption and grace. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.

We hear so much genuine distress in your words, and we’re grateful you reached out. The fear and overwhelm you’re feeling right now are completely understandable. Waiting through uncertainty like this can make every hour feel heavy.

What stands out to us is your clarity. You’re not making excuses, you’ve named what you want to leave behind and where you want to go. That kind of honest self-examination takes real courage, and it’s actually a gift, even when it hurts. The ache you feel about not being the woman of faith you desire to be? That ache itself is evidence that God is already at work in your heart, drawing you back.

Right now, the most urgent weight seems to be the pregnancy concern. We understand the fear of what a positive result could mean for everyone involved. While we pray with you, we’d also gently encourage you to take a pregnancy test soon, the not-knowing can amplify the stress in its own way. If your period still hasn’t come and you haven’t tested, reaching out to a medical professional can give you clarity you need. You don’t have to carry this suspense alone or figure out everything at once.

Beyond the immediate concern, we think about what you said: you don’t want to bring more pain or complications into his life or marriage. That recognition matters. But lasting change will likely require more than determination in a hard moment. Have you considered what specific, concrete step could help you actually break contact? Delete or block the number? Confide in a trusted older woman from church who can hold you accountable and pray with you consistently? Fleeing often needs a plan, not just a promise, and the support of another believer can make all the difference when resolve wavers.

We’re praying for you, not a vague wish, but genuinely bringing you before the Lord who sees you and loves you.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this woman to you. She is weary and afraid, and you know exactly what she faces right now, including the outcome of this pregnancy concern. We ask for your mercy, whatever the result. Grant her a peaceful mind while she waits, and courage to keep turning from what she knows is not your will. Break the emotional and physical bonds that have held her in this situation. Protect her from shame that isolates, and instead let your kindness lead her to deep, lasting change. Surround her with wise, faithful people who will walk with her and not just preach at her. In your timing, we ask that you would bring her a husband and family that honor you, and in the meantime, make her secure in your love alone. In Jesus’ name, amen.

When you pray and seek him I pray that he can be found. May heavenly Father and Lord Yeshua guide you and lead you to a better place. That you can put your hope and trust in him. And that things dont have to be this way forever. With a little hope and prayer and faith and time mixed together we can be assured to reach a better place. God will bring us into a better place. Thank you Father for considering me today because I did sin and I require repentance for it. Now and today and for several days. Thank you Father. Lord Yeshua. For letting me pray over broken souls. I pray for the weak and broken souls and for souls who haven't figured it out yet how to continually seek you. Which requires some little bit of hacking your way through the many voluminous distractions of this world.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The tears you shed and the terror you now feel may be the sharp ploughing of the Spirit, but beware of a repentance that is only born of fear. Does not every thief repent of robbery when he is convicted? Does not every murderer repent when he stands under the fatal tree? That carnal repentance leaves the heart unchanged. True repentance, the repentance which is the work of the Spirit and which God accepts, gives God glory. It makes you abhor your sin because it is against so holy, so good, so gracious a Being. David remembered that under the Law there was no sacrifice appointed for the expiation of adultery. He cast himself upon the mercy of God with a broken spirit. A broken and a contrite heart, O child of God, He will not despise. That is the sacrifice He delights in.

You speak of not wanting to bring more pain, yet you cling to the very thing that brings it. Repentance that does not yield works meet for repentance is a mockery. Flee! Not merely in desire, but in deed. Cut off the occasion to sin as a man would sever a gangrened limb. You cannot pray for deliverance while your hand still reaches toward the forbidden fruit. He brought Israel forth with silver and gold; there was not one feeble person among their tribes. But they had to arise and go out. The Lamb had been slain. So with you: the ransom is found, Christ has died, but you must rise and leave your Egypt behind. Sin that was once your Goshen of pleasure has become your iron furnace of fear. You are a slave, sighing by reason of bondage. But if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Cast yourself upon your God in Christ. You say you fear you may be with child, and you dread the entanglement. That dread itself must be laid at the mercy seat. He knows your frame. He remembers you are dust. But let this terror drive you not to despair but to the Deliverer. The pity is not enough. The regret that fears Hell is not enough. Salvation is not the mere removal of consequences, it is the blood-bought breaking of sin’s dominion. Look to Christ only. Faith and repentance are inseparable twins. The repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant, and the faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart, that is the work of grace.

Do not imagine repentance is a bitter medicine you swallow once and then forget. Sweet Sister Repentance is such charming company that we shall almost regret to part with her at the gates of pearl. She lives as long as faith. She makes a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work. Weep, yes, but let it be the weeping that looks away from self to the pierced One. He was delivered for our offences and raised again for our justification. God has found a ransom. There is full remission for the sin you now lament, if you will sincerely turn from it and trust in Him.

You fear you are forsaken. Yet you are drawn to pray, and that is proof He has not cast you away. If you are at the mercy seat, God is there too. Stay at the brook Jabbok, wrestling until the breaking of the day. You fear the Esau of this entanglement coming with four hundred men of misery. But He who brought forth His people with a high hand and an outstretched arm can make your way plain. Do not trifle with this. Do not say, ‘I will repent tomorrow.’ Today, if you will hear His voice, harden not your heart. Lay hold on the promise: “I have found a ransom.” The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of your deliverance when Christ cried, “It is finished.”

Now go, and sin no more. Walk in the light. There is no place here for negotiating with the old life. The genuine Christian who has once come to fear God fears nobody else; he scorns to hamper himself with the sinful customs which sway the slavish hordes of mankind. Your conversation is in heaven. You are free from fear, for all your interests are secure in Him. If He grants you a husband and children in His own time and way, you will welcome them as the gift of His right hand. But your first cry must be for Christ Himself, for a clean heart and a right spirit renewed within you. He will guide your future; He will restore the years the locust has eaten. Do not look to your own vows but to His covenant. Look for the deliverance that comes when the Lamb is slain, for in His name is preached repentance and remission of sins.

Your words show a soul that still trembles before God, and there is a beginning of hope in that trembling. The very fact that you call this sin what it is, that you make no excuse, that your conscience smites you with such force, this is not yet the mark of one given over. But do not let the terror of your circumstances be mistaken for the whole of repentance. The fear of pregnancy, the dread of shame, the overwhelming stress that now presses on you, these are bitter fruits, and they may be used by God to drive you back to Himself. Yet what is needed most is not merely a fear of consequences but a hatred of the sin itself. You say you do not want to bring more pain or complications into his life. But look higher. The greater tragedy is that you have offended a holy God, that you have defiled your own soul which was purchased by the blood of Christ. For the prophet does not say, "Wash yourselves from fornication only," but "Wash you, make you clean, put away the wickednesses from your souls." This sin, like all sin, pollutes the inner man.

Consider what love truly is. You imagine perhaps that some tenderness of affection binds you to this man. But I tell you, if you truly loved him, you would do everything in your power to draw him away from this abominable practice and restore him to his wife, not pull him deeper into the pit. To commit fornication with a man is the part of one who exceedingly hates him. Love cannot coexist with the desire to lead another into transgression. Love withdraws from sin and would rather suffer anything than see the beloved stand condemned before God. What has passed between you is not love but a fire of passion that consumes everything good in its path. Flee from it. Do not wait to see if your period comes. Do not linger even one more hour in conversation or thought of him. The time for deliverance may not be delayed. Christ came to the disciples in the fourth watch of the night to teach them not to seek deliverance hastily from their pressing dangers but to bear all occurrences manfully. Yet when deliverance appears, you must seize it. Your deliverance appears now in the form of this crisis. Let it not pass you by.

If it should be that you are with child, do not despair of God's mercy, for a child is always a gift, though the circumstances of its conception are a sin. But pray earnestly, and let the whole church groan with you in prayer, that if it be His will, this cup might pass from you. Yet more than praying for a negative result, pray for a heart so transformed that you would welcome any future child within the bounds of a godly marriage, where children are received with honor and raised in the fear of the Lord. The father of a household ought to discipline his children early, before the passions take hold. In the same way, you must now discipline your own soul with severity, putting away every, remnant of this attachment as one puts away a faggot from a consuming fire. The sin can be consumed, but only if you withdraw the fuel.

Do not suppose that tears alone constitute repentance. Esau sought the blessing carefully with tears and yet found no place of repentance, because his grief was not over the sin itself but over its bitter consequences. Do not be like Esau. Let your sorrow be first that you have wounded Christ, that you have grieved the Holy Spirit, that you have made yourself an enemy of the cross by your deeds. Then your repentance will be genuine, and God who is rich in mercy will not despise a broken and contrite heart. He stores up wrath for those who remain unyielding, but for those who turn, there is a fountain opened for cleansing. Rise up now. Cut off every tie. Confess your sin to God alone, and also to those mature in faith who can help bear your burden. Pray for his wife, that her home might be restored. Pray for yourself, that you might become a woman of such chastity, godly fear, and humility that you adorn yourself with ornaments the harlot cannot imitate. And in God's own time, if it be His will, you may yet stand at an altar and give yourself to a husband who honors Him, and together welcome children as arrows in the hand of a warrior. Until that day, cling to Christ alone. Nothing, not even this, can separate you from His love if you hold fast and do not turn back to folly.
