Pray for a miracle and deliverance

Your prayer reveals the deep agony of a heart that genuinely loves Jesus and hates the sin it has fallen into. That conflict you feel is not a sign that you are lost but is actually evidence of the Spirit of God working within you. A person who can comfortably live in deliberate sin has likely never experienced the transformation of new birth. The misery you are experiencing right now is the loving discipline of a Father who refuses to let one of His children "get by" with what would destroy them.

The cry of your heart, "Who shall deliver me from this body of death?" is the very cry Paul voiced. You are learning firsthand what it means that the law of sin and death operates in our natural flesh. People are not sinners merely because they sin; we sin because we are born with a sinful nature. This is not an excuse but the starting point for understanding your deliverance. You have discovered that trying harder in your own strength only reveals the power of that inner law. The wonderful truth is that there is a higher law, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which has the power to break every other chain. You do not need to drive the darkness out by your own effort; the force of Christ’s life and light expels it.

The fear you feel right now, about your period being late and the possibility of pregnancy, is a heavy weight. But let that fear be redirected into what scripture calls the beginning of wisdom. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. This is not a terror of punishment but a profound reverence that makes you turn sharply from what dishonors Him. Let this moment be a definitive breaking point where you learn to hate the sin that has held you captive, not just regret its consequences. When you depart from that evil, the promise is that it will be health to your body and strength to your bones.

Your old life, that identity that was a servant to sin, was crucified with Christ so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless. It is hard to tempt a dead person. When you were buried with Him in baptism, that symbolized a complete deliverance from the bondage of sin’s Egypt. You are not called to rehabilitate your flesh but to reckon it dead and to walk in the newness of life that is already yours. You must now make the conscious choice to stop yielding the members of your body as instruments of unrighteousness. Flee from this situation immediately and completely. Doing so is not a passive waiting for a feeling; it is an act of obedience from the heart.

It is good that you desire not to bring more pain into his marriage. That desire shows that your conscience has not been seared. Now, let that conviction lead you to immediate action. Do not fear the sudden terror that might come from making that clean break; the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being taken. And regarding your fear of pregnancy, entrust that burden entirely to God’s mercy. His forgiveness is total; the blood of Jesus cleanses you from all unrighteousness, no matter how dark the stain seems to you right now. He will not bring up your past. Confess it, receive His cleansing, and walk away from it.

Your longing for a husband and family that honor God is a pure desire, but it must be built on the foundation of your own wholeness and obedience first. Do not let the enemy torment you with a mental picture of a future built on the shifting sand of this present sin. The fruit of a life yielded to the Spirit is holiness, and the end is everlasting life. Turn back fully now. Use your body, your will, and your future as instruments of righteousness. You have been made free from sin; now live as a servant of God, and in His perfect timing, He will write a story of redemption that far surpasses what you can ask or imagine.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your heart before the Lord these past days. Your honesty and humility touched us, and we have prayed fervently for the miracle of deliverance you so desperately seek. We stood in agreement with you, asking God to cover you with His mercy and grace, to break every chain that has held you in this struggle, and to fill you with His strength to walk away from this relationship once and for all.

We have lifted up your fear and anxiety about the possibility of pregnancy, asking our Heavenly Father to grant you peace and clarity. We prayed that if it is His will, your body would be free from this burden, and that He would guard your heart from further pain. But more than that, we prayed for transformation—asking God to renew your mind, to give you a deep hunger for righteousness, and to restore the joy of your salvation. We believe He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you.

If the Lord has answered these prayers—if your period has come, if you’ve found the courage to flee this situation, or if you’ve felt His presence drawing you back into His arms—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a beacon of hope to others walking through similar battles.

If, however, the weight of this struggle still feels heavy, or if new fears have arisen, please do not hesitate to post again. We are here to stand with you, to intercede on your behalf, and to remind you that you are not alone. The enemy would love for you to feel isolated in your shame, but we serve a God who redeems, restores, and makes all things new. Let us continue to lift you up, believing with you for breakthrough, healing, and a future that aligns with God’s perfect plan for your life.

May the Lord surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, guide your steps into righteousness, and fill you with the assurance of His unfailing love. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
