We hear your heart and we join with you in agreement for greater self control, focus, discipline and consistency, and we thank you for sharing this honest request with us.

We understand the struggle to remain consistent in reading the Bible, in prayer, in eating with discipline, and in training, and we know that these things require not just willpower but the work of God in us. Self control is not merely a personality trait but a fruit of the Spirit, as it is written, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self control. Against such things there is no law. Gal 5:22-23. We also remember that God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self control. 2 Tim 1:7. A man who has no rule over his spirit is like a city that is broken down without walls. Prov 25:28. This is why we cannot rely on our own resolve alone, we must depend on the Holy Spirit to strengthen us daily.

The lack of consistency you describe is common, but Scripture calls us to discipline our bodies and our minds for godliness. Every man who strives in the games exercises self control in all things. Now they do it to receive a perishable crown, but we an imperishable. I therefore run like that, as not uncertainly. I fight like that, as not beating the air, but I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified. 1 Cor 9:25-27. We encourage you to establish a set time and place each day to meet with the Lord, even if it is brief at first, for this Book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it, for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success. Josh 1:8. Start with a readable plan, pray aloud, keep a journal, and ask the Lord to help you be faithful in little before you seek to be faithful in much.

You also asked for all negativity and doubt to be removed from your thoughts and for greater belief. We pray with you for a renewed mind, for we are called to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Cor 10:5 and to dwell on whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report. Phil 4:8. Doubt is not removed by trying harder to believe, but by looking to Jesus and trusting His promises. We must ask in faith without wavering, for he who wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. James 1:6. When anxious thoughts come, we bring them to God in prayer, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:7.

Regarding your desire to live overseas for training and your need for money and for obstacles to be removed, we join you in praying for open doors, but we also encourage you to seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matt 6:33. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. Psalm 37:4-5. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19. We pray that if this path overseas is truly the Lord’s will for your life, He will make it clear, provide the funds in His timing, and remove obstacles, and if it is not His will, that He will redirect you to the path that brings Him most glory and you most good. We must not pursue a path simply because we feel we are supposed to, but test it through prayer, counsel, and the Word.

Concerning your injury and your desire for peptides and PRP to heal quickly so you can train at full potential, we understand your eagerness to return to full strength. We want to gently encourage you to view your body as a stewardship, for you are bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Cor 6:19-20. While seeking medical help is wise, we encourage you to seek godly and qualified medical counsel, to not put your trust in quick fixes or experimental treatments alone, but to trust the Lord as your healer and to be patient as He restores you. Bodily discipline is good, but godliness is profitable for all things, and healing ultimately comes from His hand whether through natural recovery, wise treatment, or miraculous intervention. Be careful not to let training become an idol that drives you to compromise health or integrity, but offer your training to the Lord as worship and discipline.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Rom 10:9. It is in His name we pray and in His name we have confidence that God hears us.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for this one who desires to know You more and to walk in discipline and faithfulness. We ask You to pour out Your Spirit of power, love and self control upon him. Help him to be consistent in prayer and in reading Your Word, give him a hunger for Your truth and a love for Your presence. Teach him to discipline his body and his appetite, to eat with self control and to train for Your glory and not for pride. Guard his mind, take captive every negative and doubtful thought and replace it with faith and with Your peace. We ask for wisdom regarding finances and the desire to live overseas, make Your will unmistakably clear, open the doors no man can shut and close the doors that are not from You, and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Touch his injury, Lord, bring healing in Your perfect way and give wisdom to doctors and discernment regarding any treatment, that he would trust You above any substance or procedure. Help him to be patient, to rest in Your timing, and to believe You more each day. We pray he would seek You first above training, money, or any path, and that You would establish his steps. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We hear your heart in this - you want to be steady and faithful in the things that matter most, in time with God, in how you eat and train, and in following the path you feel called to overseas, and it is discouraging when focus and consistency feel so hard to hold.

One thing that has helped many of us is to think of discipline less as trying harder and more as training over time, like preparing for a marathon. A marathon is not run by one big effort, but by small, regular reps. That can take some pressure off. Instead of overhauling everything at once, we have found it helps to choose one small, repeatable rhythm and keep it, for example a set time and place for ten minutes in the Bible and prayer each day, and simply noting when you did it. Those small faithfulnesses add up, and they shape how you think and eat and train as well.

For the negativity and doubt you mentioned, it can help to notice those thoughts as they come and gently turn your attention back to what is true about who God is and who you are in Him, rather than arguing with every thought.

We are also praying with you for provision and for clarity about the overseas training and the obstacles in front of you, that God would make the next step clear and give you wisdom for each decision.

With the injury you mentioned, please keep a trusted medical professional involved alongside prayer as you consider options for healing.

Father, we bring our brother to You in Jesus' name. Give him a calm, focused mind, steady discipline rooted in Your grace, and renewed belief where doubt has been loud. Provide for his needs, guide his steps for training and life overseas, and bring healing to his body according to Your will. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your honest confession of need has been heard and I take it up with you before the throne of grace, for there is much in it that every earnest Christian feels within himself.

You ask for self control, focus, discipline and consistency in reading the Bible and in prayer, and in the matters of eating and training. Know then that this very desire is a sign of life, for only those in whom the quickening Spirit already dwells will pray, Quicken me in Your way. There is a holy discipline in Christ's house, and our heavenly Father loves us too well to let us play the truant and wander at our own sweet will. He trains us as a father trains his children, and blessed is the man whom He chastens and teaches out of His law. Do not think discipline a hardship to be escaped, but a mercy to be sought. Being soldiers of Christ we come under discipline, and our glorious Captain says to all who would follow Him, Count the cost. Put on the Gospel armor and watching unto prayer, be never wanting there where duty calls.

Trials and wants give new life to prayer, and you confess that you need more prayer itself. Learn then the art which Jacob knew. When he had done what wisdom could devise, he betook himself to prayer, and his prayer was humble and highly argumentative. He spread his case before the Lord and pleaded the promises. Do not let self conceit drag the wheels from your prayer. Come in lowliness of heart, and plead the Word itself, saying, Remember the Word unto Your servant. For true prayer is just pleading with the Most High, reminding our heavenly Father of what He has already promised, not to inform Him but to show our trust in His faithfulness. There is a power in the eyes of prayer which overcomes Him who is Goodness itself, for its real basis is the love of Christ Himself.

You speak also of money and of a path overseas for training, and of an obstacle that you would see removed, and of negativity and doubt that cloud your thoughts. I would have you copy that model prayer in its humility and in its arguments, yet remember also how Jacob was answered. His prayer was answered, but not in the way he expected. So we will ask that the Lord will show you without doubt the way you should take, and that He will provide what is needful according to His wisdom, not merely according to our planning. If we watched the signs of His hands in guiding us, with our eyes ever to Him as the eyes of a servant to his master, anxious to know the Lord's will and saying to self love, Down, busy will, we should be kept from many a mistake. Pray not only for the removal of an obstacle, but for grace to see whether the obstacle is a wall to be removed or a hedge by which the Lord would keep you in His way. And for your doubts, pray that He who is the Author and Finisher of faith would increase your faith, for unbelief is not to be reasoned away by our own resolve but to be overcome by looking to Christ.

For your body and your injury, and your desire for quick healing that you may train at full potential, we will bring this also to the Great Physician. He knows your frame and He is able to heal, whether by His own immediate hand or by means which His providence allows. Seek wisdom and honest counsel in these matters of peptides and treatments, and above all seek that your body may be kept as His temple, under the rule of temperance and self control, which is the fruit of the Spirit and not merely the product of our will. We may not ask God to bless every means we might desire, but we may ask Him for healing, for patience in affliction, and for grace to use our strength for His glory and not for our own pride. The eagle bears her young upon her wings, and there is no reaching them without first passing the mother, so are you kept beneath His wings even in weakness.

Let us pray together.

O Jehovah, God of all grace, we come in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom we have access and salvation. Remember Your Word unto Your servant. Quicken him in Your way. Give him a love for Your Book and constancy therein, and a spirit of prayer that watches and abides. Grant him self control and a sound mind, that whether in eating or in training or in all labors, he may do all to Your glory and keep his own vineyard with diligence. Teach him Your discipline and make him willing to be taught. Increase his faith and remove the doubts that assault him, for You are able to keep him from falling. In Your wisdom provide what is needful for his daily bread, and direct his steps concerning this path overseas. If it be Your will, make the way plain and remove the hindrance, and if it be not Your will, give him contentment and a clear mind to follow where You lead. Lay Your healing hand upon his body, restore him according to Your mercy, and give him wisdom to steward his health aright. Keep him from self reliance and self neglect, and make him humble and watchful, overcoming evil and finding victory even in prayer through the love of Christ. All this we ask not for our worthiness but for the sake of Your dear Son, our Intercessor, whose prayer never fails. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we thank God for the hunger you have expressed to grow in self control, focus and faithfulness. The desire to be consistent in reading the Bible and in prayer, to be disciplined in eating and training, and to walk in the path God has for you is itself a work of His grace, and we join you in asking Him to strengthen it.

We are reminded that prayer is a great weapon for each day. Every day brings its own rocks and storms and temptations, and we need God to make our way secure. That is why we are encouraged to seek Him early in the morning and again at night, first making Him favorable to us by prayer and supplication before we go out to our work. In that way we go forth with confidence, not because there will be no opposition, but because we go with God with us. We gladly pray for you, yet we also encourage you to remain alert yourself. It is good to have the prayers of others, but those prayers bear fruit when we ourselves are awake and watching, not sleeping spiritually. Do not think you have no need of prayer, for we all need it continually, even the most mature. Stay watchful, keep your heart attentive to the Lord, and let the prayers of the church come alongside your own seeking.

Self control and discipline are not only matters of willpower, they are fruit of the Spirit as you walk with Christ. Ask God to help you love what endures more than what perishes. Scripture warns us not to labor only for food that perishes, but for that which endures to everlasting life. This does not mean that food, training and daily work do not matter, but that they find their right place when we first give thanks to God for all things, great and small, and practice restraint out of gratitude rather than anxiety. Bring your eating, your training, your schedule and your habits before the Lord each day, asking for a clear mind, a thankful heart and steady steps. Small faithful choices, done consistently in dependence on Him, will build the focus you long for.

You have shared the burden about money and the sense that you are to live and train overseas, and about obstacles that seem to stand in the way. We join you in asking God to make His will plain, to open doors that no one can shut and to close doors that should remain closed. Pray for provision, for wisdom in stewardship, and for contentment to trust His timing. If this path is from Him, He is able to remove hindrances in His time and to provide what is needed. If He directs otherwise, He will show you. Ask Him for greater faith, not only to believe for outward change but to trust His character, and ask Him to replace negativity and doubt with truth from His Word. As you meditate on Scripture daily, let it renew your thoughts, so that your mind is shaped by His promises rather than by fear.

Concerning your injury and your hope for quick healing through peptides and PRP, we pray for your healing and for wisdom. God is the healer, and He often works through means that include rest, care and wise medical counsel. Bring your body to Him with thanksgiving, ask for guidance for those who treat you, and do not place your ultimate hope in any single treatment but in the Lord who formed you and sustains you. We pray that He would restore you, give you patience in this limited season, and help you steward your strength well so that you may train again at full capacity for His glory.

Let us pray together.

Father, we thank You that You hear us always when we come through Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for this brother who desires to know You more and to walk in discipline and purity. Grant him grace to seek You early and late, to hear Your voice in Scripture, and to remain watchful in prayer. Grow in him self control, focus and consistency, and let his daily habits be ordered by Your Spirit. Provide for his needs according to Your riches, make clear his path, and remove obstacles as it pleases You. Strengthen his faith, drive away doubt and every discouraging thought, and fill his mind with Your truth and peace. Lay Your healing hand upon his body, give wisdom to all who care for him, and grant restoration in Your mercy. Keep him trusting not in his own strength but in You, and let his life bear fruit that endures. In the name of Jesus we ask this, amen.
