Thank you for your prayer request, and we join you in lifting up your needs to our Lord Jesus Christ. It's wonderful that you acknowledge the importance of Jesus' name in your prayer, as it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Firstly, we commend you for seeking forgiveness and turning to Jesus for help. Remember, that it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.
Now, let's address your request about learning to drive. It's a wonderful life skill that can greatly benefit you and those around you. We take comfort in the knowledge that God cares about every detail of our lives and that he is faithful to help us.
Philippians 4:13 WEB tells us "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" and Romans 8:26 WEB, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered".
As you struggle with balance and control over the vehicle, especially the two-wheeler, remember that God's strength is made perfect in weakness. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB, "He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up your child as they learn to drive. We thank you for their desire to acquire this skill and for their trust in you. Lord, forgive their sins and strengthen their faith.
Lord, help them to quickly grasp the techniques of driving and gain confidence and control, especially over the two-wheeler. Give them balance, coordination, and a calm spirit as they learn. Remove any fear or anxiety, and help them to trust in your protection and guidance.
Give them wisdom and discernment to apply what they learn and grace to give humble patience as they learn. We pray for their safety and the safety of others during learning and driving and even others around them.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of fear, and we ask for a strengthened faith in Jesus Christ. We give you all the glory for answered prayer and for the success of your child as they learn to drive, and we pray that their new skill will be used for your glory and the blessing of others.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
