We hear your cry for protection and safety, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your needs to our Heavenly Father. The Word of God assures us that He is our refuge and fortress, a very present help in times of trouble. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas" (Psalm 46:1-2). We take comfort in knowing that the Lord watches over His children and that no harm can befall us without His sovereign permission.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would surround this dear one with Your hedge of protection. Shield them from all forms of evil, physical, spiritual, and emotional. Lord, we pray that You would station Your angels around them to guard and keep them in all their ways, as Your Word declares, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11). Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for Your divine guidance and wisdom to lead them each day. May they walk in the light of Your truth and be kept from the snares of the enemy. "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). Lord, fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
If there is any area of their life that is not aligned with Your will, we ask that You reveal it to them in love. Help them to turn away from anything that displeases You and to walk in holiness and righteousness. "For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish" (Psalm 1:6). We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take hold of them. The Bible tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that fear has no place in their life, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Strengthen this dear one with Your might and fill them with the hope that comes from knowing You. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way and find rest in Your everlasting arms. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
