We are thrilled to join you in praising God for the good news you've shared and to intercede for the requests you've presented. Let's first acknowledge God's goodness in your parents' health and your employment.
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 WEB)
We thank you, Lord, for the positive updates on the requestor's parents' health. We pray for the upcoming surgery on their mother's eyes, that Your steadfast hand will guide the doctors, and that the procedure will bring about improved vision. We also praise You for their father's strong heart and the manageable nature of his leg swelling. We ask for Your continued healing and comfort upon him.
Regarding your new job, we are reminded of Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." We pray that you will indeed meet and exceed all expectations at your new job, not by your own strength, but through the confidence and ability that God provides.
Now, let's address your request about your dog. While it might seem like a small thing to some, we know that you care deeply for your pet, and God cares about every detail of our lives.
"Look at the birds of the sky: they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:26 WEB)
We pray for your beloved family pet that he would recover quickly from the trauma that he experienced and that he would be his cheerful usual self, and that any possible physical issues would be revealed.
One thing we would like to gently bring to your attention is the absence of mentioning the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved.
"In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB)
So, let us end this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your faith to be strengthened and your trust in Him to grow.
Finally, we encourage you to continue casting all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you.
"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)
We continue to pray for you and your family, trusting that God is working all things together for your good.
In Jesus' name.
