Disciple of Prayer
Please join with me in praise. I asked for prayer alot but want to focus on only the positive this week: I got my speech written for the disability event, ###'s job is still letting him work from home. ### and ### are both relatively healthy at the moment. My blood disorder hasn't been too bad lately. Finally after ten years got a job with insurance right as I was about to lose my disability insurance. Have an artist talk coming up and have had multiple opportunities come up lately also have been doing a bit better with my eating disorder

We rejoice with you in the many blessings and answered prayers the Lord has poured out in your life! It is good to lift our voices in praise, for the Scriptures tell us, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise. Be thankful to him, and bless his name" (Psalm 100:4). Your gratitude is a sweet fragrance before the throne of God, and we join our hearts with yours in celebrating His faithfulness.

We give thanks for the provision of your speech for the disability event, may the Lord use your words to bring hope, encouragement, and His truth to all who hear. We praise Him for the mercy shown in allowing to continue working from home, a tangible reminder of His care for your family’s needs. Gratitude fills our hearts for the health of and , and for the grace that has sustained you through your blood disorder. What a testimony of God’s goodness that He opened the door to a job with insurance just as you faced the loss of your previous coverage! This is no coincidence, it is the hand of the Lord, who "supplies every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).

We also celebrate the opportunities the Lord has placed before you, the artist talk and other doors that have opened. May each one be a platform for His glory, and may He strengthen you to walk through them with confidence in Him. Your progress in battling the eating disorder is a victory won through Christ’s power, and we pray that He continues to heal and restore you in this area. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift our voices in praise for Your unfailing love and provision in the life of Your child. Thank You for the answered prayers, the open doors, and the strength You have given. Lord, we ask that You continue to guide and sustain in every area of life. Bless the work of her hands, the words of her mouth, and the opportunities before her. May Your name be glorified in all things. Strengthen her faith to trust You in every season, knowing that You are working all things together for good. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

May the Lord continue to fill your heart with joy and peace as you walk in His purposes. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is faithful, and His mercies are new every morning. "This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24).

What a joy to read this, thank you for letting us share in these good gifts with you. After a long season of asking, it is right and good to pause and name what God has done, and your list is full of things worth celebrating. The job with insurance arriving right when you were about to lose coverage, after ten years of waiting, feels like a very personal provision, and we are genuinely happy with you. The speech written, the artist talk ahead, the doors opening, the family moment of relative health, all of it matters.

We especially notice that you are doing a bit better with your eating disorder. That is no small thing. Those hard-won steps of progress are often fought in quiet moments, and we want you to know we see the courage in it. You are not alone, and the One who walks with you is not in a hurry. He strengthens you for each day, and we trust Him to continue that work.

As you ride this wave, receive it. Let the joy land. Don’t talk yourself out of it or immediately look for what might go wrong; just be present to the good that is here right now.

We pray with you,

Lord Jesus, thank You for this season of tangible encouragement. Thank You for steady work, for insurance that lifts a heavy weight, for health that holds, for creative opportunities, and for the quiet victories in the battle with an eating disorder. Continue to restore and strengthen. Protect what is good, and anchor their heart in Your faithful love. For all that is yet to come, be their wisdom and their peace. In Your name, amen.

Praise is the music of a soul at rest in God, and yours has risen like incense to the throne. How good it is that you have set your mind not on the shadows but on the light, recounting mercies as David did, whose heart brimmed over with thanksgiving. For the speech prepared, for your husband’s continued provision of labor from home, for the relative health of both your bodies, and for the quieting of your blood disorder, I join my heart with yours in blessing the Lord. He has not despised the cry of the afflicted, but has borne you up as on eagles’ wings. To have a door of employment open with insurance just when the former shelter was about to close, this is the finger of God, a timely mercy that speaks of His Covenant faithfulness. The artist talk, the blossoming opportunities, and even the gentle victory over the eating disorder: all these are tokens that His bow is not broken, but is being renewed in your hand.

Yet mingle your praise with prayer still, for the two must not be parted. The garment of praise becomes you, and it covers you, hiding self while adorning the name of Jesus. Remember Job, he mourned and worshipped, and his glory was in God’s keeping even when the tempter raged. If trials should come again, as they may, the habit of praise will sustain you, for the Spirit’s anointing of fresh oil comes to those who linger in the presence of the Most High. Your speech of thanksgiving is comely; let it rise not only this week but daily, a sacrifice offered by faith through Christ. Continue to speak what you have found of Him, and let your lips declare, “What shall I render unto the Lord for all His benefits toward me?” Praise Him in the congregation, praise Him in the secret place, and let your whole life be a psalm. The Lord has done great things for you; blessed be His name.

Lord, we join together in lifting up praise to You. Thank You for the speech written, for ###'s job, for the health of ### and ###, and for Your continued grace over this blood disorder. We thank You for providing insurance at just the right time, for upcoming opportunities and the artist talk, and for the progress made with the eating disorder. You are faithful in all things, and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). May all glory and honor be given to You, for every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17). In Jesus' name, Amen.
