MSC Prayers

Humble Servant of All
Please pray for me. Let's just say, after more than 3 years of adjusting to my physical and mental disabilities I still have some difficulty dealing with my 'conditions' and such. On the bright side, "I'M ALIVE TODAY BY THE GRACE OF GOD!" and "AFTER BEING BACKSLIDDEN FOR MORE THAN 40 YEARS, OUR HEAVENLY FATHER HAS DRAWN ME BACK INTO FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM. HALLELUJAH! PRAISE THE LORD! THANK YOU JESUS!" I'm not complaining in any way. PRAISE THE LORD! THANK YOU JESUS! In Jesus' Precious Name. Amen.

We rejoice with you in the incredible mercy and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ! Your testimony of being drawn back into fellowship after many years is a powerful reminder of God’s unfailing love and faithfulness. The fact that you are alive today is no accident, it is divine purpose, and we give Him all the glory.

Your physical and mental struggles are not overlooked by our Heavenly Father. He sees every burden, every moment of frustration, and every tear. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." Though your body and mind may feel limited, your spirit is alive in Christ, and that is where true strength is found. We are reminded in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."

We lift you up in prayer, asking the Lord to sustain you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. May He fill you with hope, not in your circumstances, but in His promises. May He grant you moments of joy and gratitude, even in the midst of challenges, as you continue to walk in His presence. Let us pray:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your mercy and grace in the life of Your child. Lord, we thank You for drawing them back into fellowship with You and for the testimony of Your faithfulness. We ask that You would be their strength in moments of weakness, their comfort in times of struggle, and their peace in the face of uncertainty. Father, we pray for healing, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual, and ask that You would renew their mind and body according to Your will. Help them to fix their eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of their faith, and to trust in Your unfailing love. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in joy and purpose, knowing that their life is held securely in Your hands. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

Continue to press into the Lord, dear brother or sister. Your struggles do not define you, Christ does. As you abide in Him, He will produce fruit in your life that brings glory to His name. Keep praising Him, keep seeking Him, and keep trusting in His perfect plan for you. You are not alone, and your testimony is a light to others who may be walking a similar path. May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to walk with Him!

Brother, what a joy to read your note! We're with you in thanking the Lord for drawing you back into fellowship with Him after so many years, that is no small thing, and your gratitude is a beautiful witness. At the same time, we hear you, without complaint, simply naming that adjusting to a new way of living with these conditions remains hard, even after three years. We want you to know that's normal. A long illness often shifts how we see ourselves, and finding our footing again can take longer than anyone expects. We're praying for steady grace in that in-between space.

One thing that may help, if you're not already doing it, is staying closely connected to your local church body. Chronic difficulty can isolate us, and worship together has a way of reminding us that we don't carry things alone. Even when you can't get there, a small group or a couple of trusted friends who check in can make a real difference. You don't have to put on a brave face, just letting others stand with you is part of being the body.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy that kept our brother alive and brought him home after four decades. In the everyday frustrations of his body and mind, give him Your peace that doesn't depend on circumstances. Surround him with people who will patiently walk alongside him, and keep his heart fixed on the hope he has in Jesus. We ask for daily strength, moments of genuine relief, and a deep, unshakable sense of Your presence. In Jesus' name, amen.

What a joyful noise of praise ascends from your heart, dear friend, and it rings like music in the ears of our gracious God! To be drawn back after forty years of wandering, this is a miracle of mercy that must silence every doubt and set the bells of Heaven ringing. "I give unto My sheep eternal life," saith the Good Shepherd, and you have proven that His gift is without repentance. You were not plucked from His hand, though you slipped into the far country; and now He hath brought you home with a Father's kiss. Let your loud hallelujahs rise like incense, for they are a sweet savor unto the Lord.

Yet you speak of a cross that still galls your shoulders, these afflictions of body and mind that have tarried with you these three years. Mark well that our Captain was made perfect through sufferings, and as He Himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to succor them that are tempted. Your pains are not tokens of His absence but classrooms of His sympathy. The refining fire is not sent to consume you but to burn away the dross; and He who sits as the Refiner knows the precise heat your soul requires. Do not despise these chastisements, for they are the engraving tool of the Spirit, cutting the image of Christ deeper into your spirit. That you can lift up praise amid the ache proves the work is genuine.

You fear not to press forward, though the way be rough. The righteous shall hold on his way, not because his legs are strong, but because the everlasting covenant binds him fast. "I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from Me." This is the very seal of your restoration. He who began that good work in you shall perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Your present struggle is not a sign of failure but of life, the storm that tests the rooted tree strengthens its grip upon the rock. The disabilities that humble you drive you to the Prince of Life, and that is a mercy beyond all earthly ease.

Lift up your head, then, and look not at the waves but at the Master walking upon them. He suffered outside the gate to sanctify you, and every sorrow you bear is a sip from His cup, a step closer to His likeness. I join my prayers with yours, that you may find His grace sufficient and His strength made perfect in your weakness. The day is coming when you shall stand without fault before His glory with exceeding joy, and all this pilgrimage shall seem but a moment's mist before the eternal morning. Praise the Lord! Thank you, Jesus! Even so, Amen.

You do well to give thanks that God has drawn you back after forty years of wandering. It was indeed the fullness of time, when you were on the very point of perishing, that grace reached down and rescued you. But now that you have risen, do not let this present ease make you confident that the race is already won. For it is written, "Let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall." The one who has been sick so long must guard his health constantly, not relying on a short season of repentance, but living each day in watchfulness.

Your struggles with body and mind are a heavy load, yet they need not be your ruin. The Lord who once changed water into wine still transforms our cold, unstable wills into something sturdy and gladdening. If you let this trial drive you to prayer and patience rather than idleness or complaint, it can become the mother of spiritual health. Do not look on your conditions as mere misfortune, but as a discipline that, like poverty, can compel you to labor in virtue where luxury would have made you sluggish.

I will pray for you, not that these afflictions simply vanish, but that Christ may perfect His strength in your weakness, and that you may never return to the deadness from which you were called. Watch, then, and hold fast, for the one who endures to the end shall be saved.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
