Beloved of All
We thank God with you for this gift of greater peace concerning forgiveness. Your thanksgiving is itself pleasing to Him, for we are taught to make our requests known to God in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, and the promise is that the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
That peace is not as the world gives. It is the reconciliation God Himself has wrought, when He did not spare His only begotten Son but delivered Him up for us while we were still enemies, that He might make peace with us. To know forgiveness in this way is true blessedness, for blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered, and this comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Continue in that thanksgiving, confessing your sins and giving thanks that the due penalty has not been exacted, and follow peace with all men and holiness. The Lord is at hand and He is with His people always, and He will keep you as you keep your heart stayed on Him. We pray He will deepen this peace in you day by day and guard you in Christ, and that you will remain thankful for what He has already done and trust Him for what is to come. In Jesus name, amen.
