Beloved of All
Rejoicing with you in what the Lord Jesus Christ has done in saving you and setting you free. Salvation is through Him alone, and your testimony of deliverance is a reminder that He has real authority in the spiritual realm. The Scriptures show evil spirits as real and intelligent beings, fallen angels who rebelled with Satan, yet when Jesus commands them they must obey. They even begged Him not to send them to the abyss before their time, because He alone holds that authority. What you experienced is that same power of Christ to break bondage and give new life, and we give thanks with you for eternal life in Him.
Your desire to give your life to Him fully and wholeheartedly is the right response to such mercy. God often wrestles with us as He did with Jacob, not because He wants to harm us but because He wants to bring us to a place of surrender where He can then do all He intends to do through us. Jacob was strong willed and would not yield, and the Lord touched his hip and crippled him in order to crown him. He does not want to cripple us, but He will allow us to be brought low so that we will stop striving in our own schemes and simply say, Lord, here is my life, my circumstances, my body and mind, I give all to You. That daily surrender, leaving your life in His hands and not taking it back to manage yourself, is how you grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and come to know His full purpose to bless you.
I also join you in thanking God for the healings you have seen, even in your teeth, and I am praying with you for the other needs you mentioned for your brain, for your loved one with blood sugar issues and dementia and infections in her toes, and for your whole family including those with autism and Asperger syndrome. I believe very strongly in healing. The Bible shows Jesus healing in many different ways. Sometimes He healed instantly, sometimes healing was gradual, and that gradual healing is the only one of its kind recorded in His ministry, which shows He is not confined to a pattern. Sometimes He touched people, sometimes He only spoke a word from a distance and said go home and you will find it done. Any healing process is divine, for God Himself created our bodies and established the processes by which they recover, and that is no less divine because it works through nature. He also does a deep healing in the mind and emotions, healing scars and wounds that cannot be seen. Matthew relates the healing ministry of Jesus to Isaiah chapter 53 verse 4, surely He has borne our griefs, where the word for griefs means infirmities, showing that His suffering on the cross touches both spiritual and physical need.
At the same time there is much about healing I do not understand. I do not understand why some are healed and others are not, and to presume that God wills physical healing in every case is not scriptural. Paul prayed three times concerning his thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet him, and God did not remove it. Jesus went about teaching and preaching and healing every sickness and disease, and He still heals today, and healings are happening daily, yet not always as we expect or when we expect. So we keep praying with faith, asking for His mercy, while trusting His wisdom and love when His answer is different than we hope.
I am praying that the Lord will forgive your sins as you have asked, and you can rest in His promise that when we confess, He is faithful to forgive through the blood of Christ. I am asking Him to fill your heart, body and mind more and more with His presence, to heal what needs healing according to His perfect will, to deliver you and your loved ones from the evil one, to provide wisdom for doctors and care for your loved one, and to draw every member of your family to salvation in Jesus. May He guide you to do His will each day and keep you in His love as you walk with Him.
