We rejoice with you in this testimony of God's faithful provision and we join you in giving thanks to Him. To see Him answer prayer when your outlook was bleak, when rent and bills and daily needs pressed upon you and your buffer was gone, and to see Him make a way where you saw no way, is cause for deep gratitude. God is good, and He hears the prayers offered in the name of Jesus.
Your thanksgiving itself is pleasing to God. True thanksgiving is not only to speak of blessings with our lips, but to confess our dependence on Him, to acknowledge that every good gift comes from His hand, and to serve Him with reverence and godly fear. Keep this heart of gratitude before Him, not only in this moment of relief but in the days to come. Give thanks privately and sincerely to God alone, without vainglory, remembering that He is the One who has delivered you.
We also encourage you to steward this provision wisely. Scripture teaches us to make provision for what is necessary for health and for our duties, and not to spend on excess or wantonness, but to use what God supplies for what is needful and to set our greater industry on spiritual things. As you have been comforted, look also for ways to comfort others, to be generous as God has been generous to you, and to continue in prayer and trust whether in abundance or in need.
We thank God for you and for the prayer partners who stood with you, and we pray that He will keep you in peace and in trust.
Father, in the name of Jesus we thank You for Your mercy and provision for our brother and sister. You saw their worry and sleeplessness and You answered with creative and sufficient care. We give You thanks for what You have done and for what You will continue to do. Keep their heart steadfast in gratitude, guard them from anxiety, help them to use what You have supplied faithfully, and deepen their trust in You for every day to come. Amen.
