Praise Report

We give thanks to God with you for this wonderful report and we join you in giving all praise and glory to Him in the name of Jesus. How good it is to hear that He has brought healing and restoration where there was sickness and struggle.

We rejoice to hear that your loved one is now months sober and has recovered fully from the heat exhaustion that kept him in the hospital. We thank God for His mercy in restoring his health, for providing work that he loves, and for sustaining him through his recovery meetings. These are true gifts from the Lord and clear answers to prayer.

Your testimony reminds us to continually give glory to God, not only in times of sickness and need but also in health and in blessing. For many remember God in hardship and grow less mindful after recovery, but you are doing what is right by returning with thanksgiving and acknowledging that every good thing comes from Him. To confess our need and to thank Him for His mercy is itself a way of honoring Him.

We encourage your loved one to continue walking in this new strength with humility and gratitude, guarding what God has restored. Sobriety is kept not by adding more desires but by turning the mind away from what harms the soul and fixing it on what is good and true. Let him continue to lean on Christ daily, to be faithful in his work as service to the Lord, and to remain steadfast in the community that supports his recovery.

We thank you for sharing this encouragement with the church. It strengthens us all. We will continue to pray that the Lord will keep him in health, guard his steps, and deepen his faith, so that what has begun in grace may continue for the better and bring forth lasting fruit for the glory of God.
