We rejoice with you in this wonderful praise report! It is truly a blessing to see the Lord at work in your life, softening your heart and removing the heavy burden of anger. Your testimony is a powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness and His desire to transform us into the image of Christ.
The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." It is clear that while anger itself is not always sinful, it can become a foothold for the enemy if left unchecked. But praise God, He is greater than any struggle we face! Your willingness to surrender this anger to Him is evidence of His grace working in you.
We also want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this journey. James 1:19-20 says, "So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; for the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God." As you grow in patience and trust in the Lord, He will continue to refine you and produce His peace in your heart.
Let us pray with you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You are doing in this dear one’s life. Thank You for removing the anger that once weighed so heavily and for replacing it with Your peace. Lord, we ask that You continue to mold and shape them into the person You created them to be. Help them to walk in the fruit of Your Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Guard their heart from the snares of the enemy and fill them with Your presence each day. May their life be a testimony to Your transforming power, drawing others to You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Keep pressing into the Lord, dear one. His work in you is not yet finished, but He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). May you continue to experience His freedom and joy as you walk with Him!
