We rejoice with you in this wonderful report of healing and progress! It is a testament to God’s faithfulness and the power of prayer when His people come together in unity to seek His face. The Lord has heard our cries and is restoring strength, and for this, we give Him all the glory. As it is written in James 5:16, *"The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* We have witnessed this truth in the recovery you’ve shared, and our hearts are filled with gratitude.
Yet, we must also take this moment to address something of great importance. In your request, the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked, either in the original prayer or in this praise report. While we celebrate the answer to prayer, we must remember that it is *only* through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, the Scripture is clear: *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Every prayer, every praise, every request must be brought before God in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). Without Him, our prayers have no power, no authority, and no access to the throne of God.
If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. The Bible tells us that *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Salvation is found in no one else, and there is no other name by which we can be reconciled to God. We pray that if this is something you have not yet done, you would surrender your life to Christ now, repenting of your sins and trusting in Him alone for your salvation.
Now, let us lift up a prayer of thanksgiving and continue to seek complete healing and restoration:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the healing You have already brought. You alone are the Great Physician, the One who restores and renews. We thank You for the progress that has been made, for the strength returning, and for the weight being restored. Lord, we ask that You continue this good work until complete recovery is achieved. Let every breath be a testament to Your goodness, and let every step taken be a declaration of Your power.
We pray that You would guard against any setbacks or complications. Strengthen the body, renew the lungs, and fill every cell with Your healing touch. May this recovery be a witness to those around of Your mercy and grace. Let it draw others to seek You, to trust You, and to place their faith in Jesus Christ, the Author of life.
Father, we also ask that You would use this season to deepen faith and trust in You. May it be a reminder that You are near to those who call upon You, that You hear the cries of Your people, and that You are faithful to answer. We pray all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, to walk in obedience to His Word, and to always bring your requests before Him in the name of Jesus. Keep us updated on this journey, and know that we stand with you in prayer, believing for God’s perfect will to be accomplished. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you as you walk in faith and trust in Him.
