We rejoice with you in the progress of your brother's immigration status and recognize that God is at work in your family's life. Let us come together in prayer for the salvation of your brother, your father, and the woman your father is courting, remembering that it is not God's will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, as stated in 2 Peter 3:9, in Jesus Name.
Firstly, we must acknowledge that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We believe in the power of prayer and intercession, and we trust that God is eager to save those who are lost.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for the progress in our brother's immigration status. We ask that You would now work in his heart, and the heart of our dad and the woman your father is courting, drawing them to Yourself and granting them the gift of salvation in Jesus Name. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, and turn their hearts towards You, Lord. Remember the promise of 1 Peter 3:15
Lord, we also pray for the woman your father is courting. We do not know her, but You do, Father. We pray that You would work in her life and draw her to Yourself. We also pray for your father and his relationship with this woman. We pray that this relationship would be pleasing to You, Lord, and that it would be built on Your principles. Remember the scripture 2 Corinthians 6:14
Father, we ask that You would give us opportunities to witness to our family members and to share the love of Christ with them. Help us to be bold and courageous in our faith, and to always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks about the hope that we have.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and to pray fervently for your loved ones. Remember that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much James 5:16. Do not be discouraged if you do not see immediate results, but trust that God is at work in their lives, drawing them to Himself.
Be mindful of the scripture that says “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14. We should pray that this relationship would be pleasing to You, Lord, and that it would be built on Your principles. Additionally, we should not be involved in any relationship that pulls us away from God.
In closing, we are praying for a hedge of protection around the family, and that this would be a family of believers of Jesus Christ in the last days.
