Yet as we pray, we must guard our own hearts. When the wicked seem to go unchecked, it is easy to become agitated or consumed with what they are doing. But the Word says, "Fret not yourself because of evil men." Their prosperity is temporary, their schemes are short-lived, and their lamp will be put out. Often God delays His judgment, not because He is remote or uncaring, but because He is patient. Yet because sentence is not executed speedily, many give themselves fully to wrongdoing, mistaking God’s longsuffering for permission. Do not be troubled by that delay. The Lord sees, and it shall be well with those who fear Him.

Health and refreshment come to those who turn from evil and honor God with their substance and their ways.
