Praise Report & Request for Additional Prayer

A little over a month ago, I reached out asking for intercessory prayer for my evil neighbors to move. I wanted to share an update that one of my evil neighbors are in the process of moving! Thank you all so much for interceding on my behalf and keeping me in prayer. I am so grateful!

I wanted to ask that you all would continue to intercede on my behalf for them to move quietly without causing any further problems and for them to be replaced with Godly, peaceful, kind, considerate and respectful neighbors. I also ask for intercessory prayer for the evil neighbors who live on the other side of me. While they've also been a problem for me since I've been living here, it seems as if the enemy has been working overtime and has been causing them to act out even more lately. I pray they are removed from this neighborhood just as quickly, so I may have total peace in my home. Thank you so much and I hope to share another praise report very soon!

We rejoice with you in the answered prayer regarding your neighbor’s move! The Lord is faithful, and His timing is perfect. We give thanks for His deliverance and provision in your life, for He has heard your cries and acted on your behalf. "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles" (Psalm 34:17). This victory is a testament to the power of persistent prayer and the goodness of our God.

We continue to stand with you in prayer, lifting up the remaining situation with your other neighbors. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the works of darkness in this situation and declare that the plans of the enemy will not prevail. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He will not allow evil to triumph in your home. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17).

We pray that the remaining neighbors would be removed swiftly and quietly, just as the first has been. May the Lord disrupt their plans and open doors for them to move far from you, so that peace may reign in your home. We also pray for godly, peaceful, and kind neighbors to take their place, those who will reflect the love and character of Christ. May your home be a place of rest, joy, and sanctuary, where the presence of the Lord dwells richly.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child will prosper, and we bind every spirit of strife, discord, and wickedness that has been at work in this neighborhood. We ask that You would remove these neighbors according to Your perfect will and replace them with those who will honor You and bring peace. Lord, we trust in Your promises, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. May Your will be done in this home, and may Your name be glorified in every detail. We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in faith, knowing that the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not grow weary in praying and believing for His deliverance. The Lord is your defender, and He will not fail you. We look forward to hearing of further praise reports as the Lord continues to work on your behalf!

We’re so glad to hear that one set of neighbors is on their way out, thank you for sharing that with us. It really encourages our own faith to see God moving in a situation that has weighed on you for so long. We’re continuing to pray with you for a quiet, uneventful transition and for neighbors who bring genuine peace to your street.

We also hear the weariness in what you’re facing with the other side. It’s draining when the tension feels relentless, and we don’t dismiss that. Sometimes just knowing that others are standing with you in prayer makes the waiting more bearable; we’re holding you up as you hold onto hope for a change.

Father, thank you for the clear sign of hope you’ve given our sister. As these neighbors move, we ask for a smooth finish, no last-minute trouble, just a quiet departure. Bring the right people to fill that space: people who will help make her home a place of rest and not strife. And with the other neighbors, we ask for your swift intervention. You see the strain, and you know what kind of resolution will finally let her breathe freely again. Guard her heart from despair while she waits, and surround her with your peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The Lord has chastened you sorely, yet He is gracious unto you, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom. You have begun to see deliverance from evil company, and for this you must declare the works of the Lord. But while you rejoice, remember we are bound to love even sinners, and not to drive them from the land of hope, we cannot love their roguery, yet our Master’s love seeks to reclaim. As for the other side, if this evil comes apart from Divine permission, where are we? All our ills lie within the fence of Omnipotent overruling, and that which you receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a father’s hand. The arrows of the enemy may fly thick, but the fear of the Lord does not drive you from Him; it drives you to Him, and you have got a place of refuge. Be always more earnest to profit by your trials than to escape from them, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from its guilt. Look to your heavenly Father, altogether and alone, and you shall get safely Home. Continue importunate in prayer, and you shall not die, but live, and see His goodness again.

I give thanks with you that a source of strife is being removed, yet I must also stir your soul to a deeper examination. You call these people evil and pray for their departure. But consider the beam in your own eye before the mote in your neighbor’s. If we are members of one another, their injury is yours, and their welfare is your concern.

To pray for their removal as if they were a disease is to forget that you yourself are not the physician but a fellow sufferer, whom God has commanded to love your neighbor as yourself. Do you wish for them to be cast out that you might have quiet? Would you wish the same for yourself if you were the one causing grief? The envious man feasts on the calamities of others, but you are called to a higher feast, to bless when you are reviled, to do good to those who trouble you.

If you truly desire total peace, it will not come merely from new neighbors of your own choosing, but from a heart cleansed of resentment and an anxious grasping after comfort. Make your soul clean by showing mercy. If you show mercy to your neighbor’s faults, you will obtain mercy for your own. Go then, and instead of speaking of their evil, speak to God for their salvation.

Let your prayer be not that they be taken away, but that they be transformed, that you yourself may be found doing the will of Christ, who preferred our edification even to His own glory. When you lie upon your couch and see your house at peace, call to remembrance those who wander in darkness of soul, and in that remembrance, love will be the fulfilling of the law.
