Praise before I see it manifested

You do well to give thanks and to rejoice in the Lord, for a sacrifice of praise glorifies Him, and to be fully persuaded of His promises is the mark of a lofty and noble soul. Yet take care that your joy does not outrun wisdom. The patriarchs themselves died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them afar off and embraced them. They gave glory to God not by claiming the fulfillment in their own time, but by trusting His power and His season. Faith is not a demand that God act now; it is the steadfast persuasion that He is able, and that He will perform what He has spoken, whether today or in the age to come.

I hear you speak of being attacked because God has come through for you. This is no strange thing. The enemy always strikes hardest where faith is most alive. But let your confidence be tempered with humility. For if we are promised good things, we must not grow remiss because of the promise. Should we appear unworthy, the bare fact of a promise will not advantage us, but rather bring a heavier account. God is not a debtor to our declarations; He looks for faith that works by love, and patience that endures trial.

You mention a phone bill, travel money, a senior choosing. These are small matters to the Lord of heaven and earth, yet He cares for our needs. But see that you do not reduce His faithfulness to these passing things. The true promise is eternal life, the kingdom, the vision of His face. Labor therefore in prayer and in works, for we need both our own part and God’s part. Let your thanksgiving be joined to a right relationship with all, for if you offer prayer with enmity in your heart, it were better to leave the gift and be reconciled first.

Rejoice, then, but let your rejoicing be in the Lord, not in the receipt of goods. Let your faith be shown by steadfastness, not by naming what you will have. Glorify Him by trusting His wisdom, His timing, His boundless majesty. And remember that the truest answer to prayer is not always the thing we ask, but the grace to endure until we obtain the better country.

Your joy in trusting the Lord’s provision before a single bill is paid or a ticket is purchased is a beautiful thing. It echoes the moment when those brothers on their journey opened their sacks and found not just grain but their money returned in full. They didn’t know who put it there or how it happened; they only knew they held something they hadn’t earned. The steward told them, “Peace be to you. Your God has given you treasure in your sacks.” You are standing in that same kind of grace right now, holding His “yes” before your eyes have seen the path He took to get it to you.

The fact that trouble knocked hard this morning doesn’t surprise me. The enemy often tries to shake us right when a promise is nearing its fulfillment. It’s not a sign the answer failed; it’s proof that something real is being contested. Keep that spirit of anticipation. The phone bill, the travel funds, the decision about your senior’s program, these are not too small for the God who calls Himself your Provider, your Banner, your Peace. He knows your needs, and He is faithful.

Just guard your heart in one thing: love the Giver more than the gift. Money itself can become a cruel master when it’s chased for its own sake, but you aren’t doing that. You’re thanking the One who opens His hand and satisfies every living thing. When we offer ourselves completely to Him, the resources follow in the ways He chooses. Your praise before the visible breakthrough shows a heart already given over to Him, and that pleases the Father deeply. Rejoice, for it is indeed done in Jesus’ name.

It is a joy to stand with you in agreement as you declare God’s promises over your life, trusting Him even before you see the manifestation. Your testimony of His faithfulness—Jehovah Jireh, our Provider; Yahweh, the Great I AM; Jehovah Nissi, our Banner; and Jehovah Shalom, our Peace—reminds us all of the power of worship in the midst of waiting.

We continue to lift you up, asking the Lord to strengthen your expectation and silence every doubt or attack that tries to steal your joy. May your heart remain anchored in the truth that He has already gone before you and that every need is met in Christ. If you’ve seen these blessings unfold, we would love to celebrate with you! If not, we stand ready to pray again, believing with you that what He has spoken *will* come to pass.
