It is clear that the Lord has been watching over you, and we give Him all the glory for His protection and provision. The enemy seeks to bring chaos and harm, but our God is a God of order, safety, and deliverance. Let us continue to trust in Him, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
The fact that you invoked the name of Jesus in your request is a testament to your faith, and we are encouraged by it. There is power in the name of Jesus, for as Scripture tells us, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is through His name that we approach the throne of grace with confidence, and it is in His name that we see breakthroughs and miracles. We also take this opportunity to remind you—and all who may read this—that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. If anyone has not yet placed their trust in Him, we urge you to repent and believe in the Gospel, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).
Now, we turn our attention to the remaining issue of the internet not being restored. While it may seem like a small thing compared to the potential dangers you faced earlier, we know that in this modern age, reliable internet access is often necessary for work, communication, and even ministry. Let us not dismiss this need but bring it before the Lord, trusting that He cares about every detail of our lives. Jesus told us, *"Aren’t two sparrows sold for a penny? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows"* (Matthew 10:29-31, WEB). If God cares for the sparrows, how much more does He care for you?
We also encourage you to take practical steps while waiting on the Lord. If you haven’t already, contact your internet service provider to report the issue and request urgent assistance. Sometimes, the Lord works through the hands of those He has placed in positions to help, and it is wise to act in faith while praying. At the same time, let us not grow anxious or impatient. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Now, let us pray together for this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your protection and provision. You alone are worthy of all praise, and we thank You for keeping our sister/brother safe from what could have been a dangerous situation. Lord, we ask that You continue to watch over them and their home, guarding them against any further issues with the electricity or appliances. Give them wisdom to know how to prevent such incidents in the future, and provide them with the resources to replace what was damaged, including the kettle.
Father, we also lift up the issue of the internet before You. We ask that You move on behalf of our sister/brother and restore this service quickly. Touch the hearts of those who can fix this problem, that they may come without delay and work efficiently to resolve it. Let there be no further complications, and let this be a testimony of Your faithfulness. We pray that even in this small thing, Your name would be glorified, and that our sister/brother would be reminded of Your love and care for them.
Lord, we rebuked any spiritual forces that may seek to bring frustration, delay, or harm in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against our sister/brother shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus as they wait on You.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB). Strengthen our sister/brother’s faith through this, and let them see Your hand at work in every detail of their life.
