We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting up your wife and her struggle with this persistent post-viral cough. It is written in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand in agreement with you, believing that God hears our prayers and is able to bring healing and restoration.
Father God, we come before Your throne of grace with thanksgiving and praise. We lift up this dear sister in Christ who is battling this lingering cough. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask that You would touch her body, bringing relief and complete healing. Strengthen her immune system, soothe her throat, and restore her to full health. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your perfect timing and will.
We also pray for patience and peace for both of you as you navigate this season. May the Lord fill your home with His presence, comfort, and joy, even in the midst of this trial. Remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Lean on Him, for He is your strength and your shield.
Let us also take a moment to reflect on the power of prayer and the name of Jesus. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can boldly come before His throne (John 14:6, Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He is the way, the truth, and the life.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming together in prayer. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, and we ask that You would bring healing to this precious sister. May Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified through her testimony. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
