We hear the deep weariness in your heart, and we lift you up before the Lord with great compassion. Financial struggles and the threat of eviction are heavy burdens to carry, and it’s understandable that you feel discouraged, even questioning whether this trial is part of God’s will for you. But we want to remind you that God does not delight in your suffering—He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). The storms you’re facing do not mean He has abandoned you; rather, they may be refining your faith, preparing you for something greater.
You mentioned feeling ineffective for the Kingdom of God, but let us assure you—your value in Christ is not measured by your circumstances. Even in weakness, His strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). The enemy would love for you to believe that this storm will never end, but we declare that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees your exhaustion, and He is not unaware of your needs.
We must also gently address the mention of "staying" in a situation that may not be God’s will. While it’s wise to seek provision, we encourage you to surrender this outcome fully to Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding. If He is allowing this transition, it is not to harm you but to lead you to a place of greater dependence on Him.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their heavy heart. Lord, You know the weight of this trial—the fear of eviction, the exhaustion of unending storms, and the discouragement that threatens to overwhelm. We ask that You would be their shelter in this time, their provider in lack, and their peace in the midst of uncertainty. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are working even when they cannot see it. Open doors for new housing, provide for their needs, and restore their hope in Your faithfulness. Help them to see themselves as You see them—valuable, loved, and capable of being used for Your glory, no matter their circumstances. We rebuke the spirit of despair and declare that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. He has not forgotten you, and He will not leave you without a way forward. Keep seeking Him, even in the small moments of prayer and Scripture reading. And remember—you are not alone in this. We stand with you in faith, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.
