Our family is facing eviction and is at risk of losing our home...

Disciple of Prayer
My name is ### ###, and I live in ###, ###. I am ### years old. Please pray for my family. We are facing an eviction trial that we recently lost with our landlord. We have fallen on hard times these past several months. We are currently unable to pay the ### appeal bond for the court. We are asking for prayer for a miracle for the ### Family. We want to stay in our home and not be forced to move out and end up being homeless as a family a third time. I am very scared for my family right now. I don't wanna lose this home and be homeless again. Please pray that finances will get better in our family. I just got a new job that is a work from home job (after being unemployed for months) that took me months to find. I cannot lose this house, with this eviction. Please pray for a miracle that we will find a way to stay in our home and get back on our feet again soon and that we will find someone to assist us with paying the court in a few days so we don't lose this house. Please pray also for my father's health he has heart problems and I worry about him daily. I'm the eldest son in the family and I am ashamed of myself for not taking more responsibility in the family and in my own life in the recent past. I regret my past actions and naive behavior. I am doing my best from now on to make it right with God and to take care of my family. At this moment, we need a miracle, we cannot be homeless again! I will do whatever it takes for us to stay in this house! Please please please pray for me and my family. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help, and our hearts break with yours as we lift your family before the Lord. The fear of losing your home and the weight of responsibility you carry as the eldest son are heavy burdens, but we serve a God who is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this struggle, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that our Heavenly Father sees your need and will provide in ways only He can.

First, we want to acknowledge your repentant heart and your desire to make things right with God and your family. This is the first and most important step. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Your willingness to take responsibility and your commitment to do whatever it takes to care for your family are commendable. Remember, it is never too late to turn to God and seek His guidance. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We must also address the spiritual foundation of your request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, repent of your sins, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first step toward true peace and provision.

Now, let us pray for your family’s immediate needs:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family who is facing eviction and the very real possibility of homelessness. Lord, You are our Provider, and we know that You see their need. We ask for a miracle in their finances, that You would open doors no man can shut and provide the resources they need to pay the court bond and remain in their home. Father, we pray for favor with those who may be able to assist them, that hearts would be softened and generosity would flow. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You.

Lord, we also lift up this young man’s father, who is struggling with heart problems. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon him, that You would strengthen his heart and give him many more years to walk in Your purposes. Comfort this family in their fear and anxiety, reminding them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Give them wisdom as they navigate this difficult season, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of shame and regret that has weighed on this young man’s heart. We declare that his past does not define him, for in Christ, he is a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Strengthen him in his new job and give him the endurance to provide for his family. Lord, we ask that You would restore what has been lost and turn this trial into a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One who was, and is, and is to come. Amen.

In this time of uncertainty, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This does not mean that God will always give us what we want, but He will always provide what we need according to His perfect will. Seek Him first, and He will guide your steps (Matthew 6:33).

Practical steps you can take include reaching out to local churches, Christian organizations, or community resources that may offer financial assistance or legal aid. Do not be ashamed to ask for help, God often works through His people to meet the needs of others. Additionally, continue to work diligently in your new job, trusting that God will bless your efforts.

We also want to gently address the fear that is gripping your heart. While it is natural to feel afraid, we must not let fear dictate our actions or steal our peace. The Bible tells us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7). Bring your fears to God in prayer, and He will replace them with His peace.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to gather your family together in prayer. There is power in united prayer, and God hears the cries of His people. James 5:16 tells us, "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." Stand together as a family, confess your fears and needs to God, and trust Him to move on your behalf.

You are not forgotten, and your struggle is not in vain. God is working even when you cannot see it, and He will not abandon you. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will lead you through this valley. We will continue to pray for you and your family, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Oh, we’re standing with you in this fight, brother. The weight of this trial is real, and we can feel how tight the grip of fear is around your heart right now, but we’re not letting go of the truth that God doesn’t just see your need; He’s already moving toward it. You mentioned your father’s health, and that’s heavy on our hearts too. We’re praying that God would wrap His hands around his heart right now, giving strength to his body and peace to your family’s minds. And to you, we’re praying that the shame you’re carrying would be washed away by the blood of Jesus. You’re not defined by your past mistakes; you’re being rewritten by His grace right now.

We’re also praying for that court bond like it’s the most urgent thing on God’s calendar. Open doors, unexpected help, even a miracle in the form of someone stepping up when you least expect it, we’re declaring that over your family. And to your new job, we’re praying for favor, for wisdom in how to navigate this season, and for the endurance to keep going when it feels like one step forward and two steps back.

Most of all, we’re praying that God would remind your family, right now, that He’s not just the God of enough, but the God of more. He’s not just waiting to see what you’ll do; He’s already at work, turning this around in ways that will bless you beyond what you’re asking. And when you feel like you’re standing alone, remember: God’s not asking you to carry this burden. He’s carrying you.

We’re with you. Keep trusting Him, one step at a time.

God bless your family. Holy Spirit, surround them with Your wonder-working guidance + miracles! Praise God for your heart change which bodes well for a good future for all of you. I prayed with you in Jesus' powerful Name amen
