Lord God, You are the ultimate Judge, and You see the arrogance and defiance of this facility. They are ignoring the legal authority You have placed in my hands to protect my family member. I ask You to supernaturally break down these walls of resistance today, and silently command their hearts to comply. Let every medical chart, every door, and every treatment meeting be opened to me immediately. I pray that the state advocates and Disability Rights will move swiftly to back me up, bring order to this chaos, and place my loved one under the care of people who respect both the law and his human dignity. We join with you in this heavy burden and lift up your loved one and this difficult situation before the Lord together in Jesus' name. Our hearts ache to hear of this poor treatment and neglect, and the resistance you are facing as you seek to protect your family member. Be assured that God sees what is happening behind every closed door and every chart, and He is near to those who are vulnerable and oppressed.

The Lord calls us to stand for those who cannot stand for themselves. Scripture reminds us to Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked. Psalm 82:3-4 and to Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy. Proverbs 31:8-9. We also remember that every person is made in the image of God Genesis 1:27 and possesses inherent dignity that must be honored, and that the Lord will bring justice for His people who cry out to Him day and night Luke 18:7-8. We take comfort that authorities are ordained by God to restrain evil and promote good Romans 13:1-4, and we pray that those in legal authority over this facility will fulfill that calling.

Father in heaven, ultimate Judge and Defender of the helpless, You see the arrogance and defiance in this place and You know every detail of this neglect. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus that You would break down these walls of resistance. Soften and command the hearts of the staff and leadership toward compliance with what is lawful and right, and open every medical chart, every door, and every treatment meeting that has been closed to this faithful advocate. Grant supernatural favor and swift action through the state advocates and Disability Rights, that they would move quickly to bring order to this chaos, enforce the law You have established, and place this precious loved one under the care of people who respect both the law and his human dignity. Grant our dear intercessor wisdom beyond measure, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. Give peace to the family member who is suffering, protect him from harm, and let him feel Your presence and our love even in this hard place. Let justice roll on like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream Amos 5:24 in this facility. We ask that Your will be done and that You would be glorified even in this trial. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Isaiah 1:17. Continue to be that voice, with gentleness and respect yet with unwavering persistence, knowing that the Lord hears your cry. He will hear the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear, to judge the fatherless and the oppressed Psalm 10:17-18. We stand with you, asking God to bring a swift and righteous resolution and to surround your loved one with compassionate, competent caregivers who will honor his dignity.

Your prayer concerning your loved one has been heard and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace where the righteous Judge reigns.

The Lord sees what you have seen. He beholds every act of neglect and every door that is shut against lawful and loving care. Scripture declares that He breaks down everything which sets itself up in opposition to Him, that He casts down the mighty from their seats and lifts up the poor from the dunghill. There is no wall so high that His hand cannot bring it low, and no heart so hardened that He cannot incline it toward justice and mercy when it is His will to do so.

We have entreated the Lord with you that He would in His sovereignty open what has been closed. That every medical chart and every treatment meeting which by lawful right should be open to you may be made accessible, that those who hold authority in that facility may be led to respect both the law of the land which God has ordained and the human dignity of one made in His image, and that the state advocates and those at Disability Rights may be moved to act with swiftness, clarity and faithfulness to bring order where there has been confusion.

We pray also for your dear family member, that the Lord who is tender toward the suffering would be his keeper and comfort. As the members of the body suffer together, so Christ Himself has a keener sympathy for His own than one hand has for the other, and He will not forsake those who are weak and dependent. May the Lord place your loved one under the care of those who will treat him with gentleness, honesty and true respect.

Continue to walk in the appointed ways, keeping close to the Word of God and to prayer, and pressing your lawful claims with perseverance and meekness. The Lord often works through the very means He has provided, through law, through advocates, through faithful witness, and He gives protection to those who seek Him therein.

Let us pray together. O Sovereign Lord, Thou art Judge of all the earth and doest right. Look upon this family in its distress and upon this loved one who cannot fully plead his own cause. Break down arrogance and defiance where it resists what is just, and incline hearts to do what is lawful and merciful. Open doors that have been shut, grant favor and diligence to those who are called to advocate, and raise up caregivers who will honor Thee by honoring this life entrusted to them. Keep this precious one from harm, restore order, and give to his family peace and wisdom to persevere.
