Beloved of All
Your prayer for your loved one has been heard, and the weight you carry in watching him be neglected while doors are closed to you is a heavy burden. Your desire to protect your own household and to stand for his dignity is right and good before God, for Scripture teaches that if anyone does not provide for his own, especially those of his own house, he has denied the duty of love. God has placed that love and responsibility in your heart.
We are taught that we are one body and members of one another, and when one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Your loved one is not forgotten or unseen. The Lord is the true Judge who sees all that is done in secret, including every act of arrogance, every chart withheld, and every door that is unjustly shut. He cares deeply for those who are vulnerable and for those who labor to protect them with lawful and rightful authority.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before You and ask for Your mercy and justice for this precious family member. You see his need and You know the resistance that has kept rightful help from reaching him. We ask You to soften hearts that have been hardened, to bring conviction where there has been defiance, and to lead those in authority at this facility to act lawfully, honestly, and with respect for his human dignity. Lord, open what has been closed according to what is right and lawful, grant access to the care and information needed to protect him, and guide every treatment meeting toward wisdom and compassion. We ask that You move upon the state advocates and Disability Rights workers, that they would act swiftly, diligently, and with integrity to bring order where there is chaos and to ensure he is placed under care that honors both the law and the life You have created. Give to this family member who intercedes, strength, patience, and clarity, and guard the health and safety of the one who suffers. We ask this trusting in Your goodness and Your power to defend the vulnerable, in Jesus name, Amen.
Continue to do what love requires, to use the lawful means God has provided, and to persist with gentleness and firmness. Keep careful records, keep seeking counsel from the advocates appointed to help, and keep bringing your needs before the Lord who does not neglect His own. He who calls us to care for one another will give you grace for each step.
