Poor treatment

Lord God, You are the ultimate Judge, and You see the arrogance and defiance of this facility. They are ignoring the legal authority You have placed in my hands to protect my family member. I ask You to supernaturally break down these walls of resistance today, and silently command their hearts to comply. Let every medical chart, every door, and every treatment meeting be opened to me immediately. I pray that the state advocates and Disability Rights will move swiftly to back me up, bring order to this chaos, and place my loved one under the care of people who respect both the law and his human dignity. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

We join with you in prayer for your loved one and for this difficult situation with this facility, and we hear the burden you carry as you seek to protect and advocate for your family member.

We are reminded that God sees all injustice and He calls us to stand for those who cannot stand for themselves. It is right and good for you to use the lawful authority that has been entrusted to you to protect the vulnerable. Speak up for those who can't speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy. Proverbs 31:8-9 and Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked. Psalm 82:3-4. The Lord also commands us Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow. Isaiah 1:17.

We also remember that all lawful authority is ordained by God for order and for good. Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist are ordained by God. Romans 13:1. When a facility resists that lawful authority, we can trust that God is still sovereign and He can work in hearts that seem hardened. At the same time we are called to pursue justice with a spirit of grace and not with vengeance, trusting the Lord to be the ultimate Judge. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19.

We encourage you to continue to walk in both firmness and Christlike character. Keep documenting, keep pressing through the proper legal and advocacy channels, and keep showing respect even while you firmly insist on what is right. Pray for wisdom in every conversation and meeting, for the Lord gives generously to those who ask. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and advocate. You are the righteous Judge who sees every closed door and every act of arrogance and resistance. We lift up this loved one to You and ask for Your hand of protection over his health, his dignity, and his daily care. Lord, soften the hearts of those in authority at this facility, remove any spirit of defiance, and lead them to comply with the lawful authority You have permitted for his protection. We ask that You would open every medical chart, every door, and every treatment meeting that needs to be opened, and that truth and transparency would prevail.

We pray that You would move swiftly through the state advocates and Disability Rights workers, give them diligence and clarity, and use them to bring order where there is chaos. We ask that You would place this precious family member under the care of people who will respect both the law and his God given human dignity, for he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. Grant our brother or sister who is advocating peace that passes understanding, patience under pressure, and words seasoned with grace and truth. Let all that is done be done in a way that honors You and ultimately brings glory to Jesus. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, and we trust Your perfect will and timing. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
