Servant of All
Please pray for me about my menstrual cycle and specifically having PMDD. I feel very unstable today - I've felt like I have the chills for the past few days and I feel so cold even when I shouldn't. I'm confused mentally and anxious. What is worse is that I'm confused about what is happening due to being a symptom of the PMDD and what is actually happening as a result of demonic attacks that I have been experiencing for the past few years. Also, please pray for me about church and socializing with people at church and socializing in general with other people as I feel TERRIBLY awkward all the time and like I make a fool of myself or make people uncomfortable even though I love talking to people. Also, I want to get to know my church members and not just leave so soon after church so please pray my mom and I will have the courage to sit and get to know people after church and that we will also have the time and ability to. Thank you.

We lift you up before the Lord, dear sister, knowing that He is your strength and refuge in every trial, including the physical and emotional battles you face with PMDD. The body is fearfully and wonderfully made by God, yet in this fallen world, we experience afflictions that remind us of our need for His healing and grace. Your struggles are not unseen by Him, and we are confident that He will sustain you through this season. The enemy seeks to exploit our weaknesses, but we must remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let us discern together what is of the flesh, what is an attack of the enemy, and what is simply the brokenness of this world—all of which our Lord can redeem.

The confusion and anxiety you feel are real, but they are not your master. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). When your mind is troubled, take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). The chills and physical discomfort you describe may well be tied to the hormonal shifts of PMDD, but we also know the enemy can use such things to discourage and distract you from the truth of God’s love. Stand firm in the knowledge that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and even in its frailty, God is at work in you. We pray for clarity of mind, for physical relief, and for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

As for the spiritual battles you’ve faced over the years, we remind you that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the whole armor of God, sister, and stand firm. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). You are not powerless—you are seated with Christ in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), and His authority is yours through faith. We rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to bind you in fear, confusion, or isolation. The Lord is your light and your salvation; whom shall you fear? (Psalm 27:1).

Now, let us address your heart for fellowship. It is a beautiful thing that you desire to connect with your church family, for we are called to love one another deeply and to stir one another up to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24-25). The awkwardness you feel is something many believers experience, but remember that God did not give you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Your love for people is a gift from Him—let it be the driving force that overcomes hesitation. Ask the Lord to open doors for conversation, to give you words of grace, and to help you see others through His eyes. Even small steps, like staying a few minutes longer after service or offering a simple greeting, are acts of obedience that He will honor.

We also encourage you to pray specifically with your mother about this. Two are better than one (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12), and the Lord can use your shared desire for fellowship to strengthen both of you. If time or circumstances make lingering difficult, ask the Lord to provide opportunities outside of Sunday gatherings—perhaps a midweek Bible study, a service project, or even inviting someone over for tea. The body of Christ is meant to function together, and your presence is needed.

Lastly, sister, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we gently but urgently remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, nor is there any other name by which we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16), and it is in His name that we pray, rebuking the enemy, and seeking healing. If you have not already, we implore you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater security, no greater peace, and no greater authority than what is found in Him.

**Let us pray:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is weary in body and spirit. Lord, You know the depths of her struggles with PMDD—the physical discomfort, the mental confusion, and the emotional turmoil. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, that You would regulate her hormones, calm her nerves, and restore her strength. Rebuke every symptom that seeks to steal her peace, and let her feel the warmth of Your presence driving away every chill.

Lord, we also stand against the schemes of the enemy in her life. You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We bind every lie, every accusation, and every attack that seeks to distort her perception of Your truth. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may discern Your voice clearly and walk in the confidence of her identity in Christ. Let her mind be renewed by Your Word, and let her heart be anchored in Your promises.

Father, we pray for her desire for fellowship. You created her for community, and we ask that You would break down every barrier of fear or awkwardness that holds her back. Give her and her mother courage to linger, to engage, and to build relationships within the church. Open doors for meaningful connections, and let her be a light to others as she steps out in faith. Remind her that she is Your beloved daughter, and her presence is a blessing to those around her.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that she would cling to Jesus in all things. Let her find her refuge in Him, her strength in Him, and her hope in Him alone. If there is any hesitation in her heart about her salvation, we pray that You would draw her into a deeper, unshakable trust in Christ. May she know beyond any doubt that she is Yours, and that nothing—neither PMDD, nor spiritual attacks, nor social anxiety—can separate her from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your timing. Let Your will be done in her life, and let Your name be glorified through her testimony. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Hey there,

We're here with you, sister. We know that PMDD can be a tough journey, both physically and emotionally. It's like you're walking through a dense fog, unsure of what's real and what's not. But remember, Jesus is right there with you, guiding your steps.

We've been praying for you, asking the Lord to bring clarity to your mind and relief to your body. We're claiming His promise in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you."

We're praying that God would give you the courage to stay a little longer after church, to engage in conversations, and to see others through His eyes. Remember, it's okay to take small steps. Each one is progress.

Let's keep praying together, okay? We're in this with you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
