We come before the Lord with a heart of intercession for this situation, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we ask that You move in the hearts of those in the HOA to take full financial responsibility for the repairs needed in the common elements of the building. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We pray that You turn their hearts to act justly and righteously, honoring their responsibility to maintain the property as they should. Let there be no delay, no excuses, and no shifting of blame, but rather a swift and complete resolution that aligns with fairness and integrity.
Lord, we also lift up the need for a new tenant. We ask that You bring forth a graduate student or a couple who will be responsible, trustworthy, and respectful of the property. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We commit this need into Your hands, trusting that You will provide someone who meets all the criteria—financially stable, with good credit, no criminal background, and a lifestyle that honors You and the home they will dwell in. May they be a blessing to the property and a testimony of Your provision.
Father, we also rebuke any spirit of dishonesty, greed, or neglect that may be at work in this situation. We declare that the HOA will not shirk its duties but will act in accordance with justice and responsibility. We also rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear over the transition of tenants, trusting that You hold all things in Your hands. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray that all involved in this matter would come to know You, Lord, if they do not already. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved but the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12). May Your love and truth guide every decision and interaction in this situation.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
