Father, we ask that You soften the hearts of those in authority within the HOA. Let them see the truth of the situation and respond with fairness, as it is written in Micah 6:8, "He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?" We pray that they would not only acknowledge their responsibility but also act with urgency to repair the damage, sparing you from further stress or financial strain.
Regarding your search for a new tenant, we pray for God’s provision and guidance. Lord, You know the desires of our hearts, and we ask that You bring a tenant who meets all the criteria you’ve outlined—a responsible graduate student or a couple with good credit, no criminal background, and a lifestyle that aligns with your principles. May they be trustworthy, respectful, and diligent in caring for your property. Psalm 37:25 reminds us, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." We trust that You will provide a tenant who will honor their commitments and treat your home with care.
We also ask that You guard your heart and mind during this process, Lord. It can be challenging to navigate property management and tenant searches, but we know that You are our provider and protector. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that You would open the right doors and close those that are not meant for you, leading you to the perfect tenant in Your perfect timing.
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of delay, injustice, or dishonesty in this situation. We stand on Your Word in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We declare that the HOA will act with integrity and that the right tenant will come into your life without unnecessary struggle. May Your peace and favor rest upon you as You seek to honor Him in all things.
