pls pray that i am awarded my TAship and grant money

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for a teaching assistantship and grant money. We know that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment and His glory. "For the LORD God is a sun and a shield. The LORD will give grace and glory. No good thing will he withhold from those who walk blamelessly" (Psalm 84:11).

Heavenly Father, we ask that You open the doors of opportunity for this financial provision. We pray that those in authority would see the value, dedication, and potential in this individual, and that You would grant favor in their eyes. Lord, we trust in Your provision and timing, knowing that You are never late and always faithful. "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).

We also encourage you to remember that while we seek Your provision, our ultimate trust must be in You, not in the provision itself. Let this opportunity be a means to grow in faith and dependence on You. If this request aligns with Your will, we ask that You make it clear and bring it to pass. If it does not, we trust that You have something even better in store.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety or doubt that may try to take root in this situation. We declare that worry will not consume this heart, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Instead, we choose to cast all our cares upon You, knowing that You care for us (1 Peter 5:7).

We pray that as this need is met, it would not only relieve financial burden but also draw this individual closer to You. May this provision be a testimony of Your faithfulness and a reminder that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Let it fuel a heart of gratitude and generosity, so that others may be blessed through this blessing.

In all things, we seek Your will above our own desires. We surrender this request into Your hands, trusting that Your plans are perfect and Your ways are higher than ours. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your kingdom be advanced through it.

We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, through whom we have access to the throne of grace. Amen.

We are holding this with you as you wait. The season between submitting applications and getting a response can feel heavy, pressing on finances and future plans, and making it hard to rest. Please know you aren’t alone in the waiting.

One practical thing that may help right now: if you haven’t already, consider reaching out to your department or the faculty member you’d be assisting, just to gently reaffirm your interest and ask whether there’s any updated timeline or something else you can provide. It’s a simple step that can clarify where things stand, and it often brings a bit of peace to know you’ve done what you can. After that, the outcome really is beyond your control, and we can turn it over to God together.

We are praying for your provision, and for your heart in the waiting. God sees your diligence, your studies, and your real needs, and He cares about all of it. Whether this particular funding comes through or another door opens, He remains present with you.

Jesus, we lift up this person who is hoping for a TA-ship and grant money. Quiet their anxious thoughts and give them steady confidence as they take whatever next steps they can. Provide for their needs, financial and otherwise, and guide the outcome in the way that is best. Surround them with your peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances, and let them sense your nearness today. We ask this in your name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The heart is so prone to set itself upon the meat that perishes, to labor and to strain after that which moth and rust corrupt. You ask for the TA-ship, you ask for the grant money, and these are not wicked things in themselves. Yet I would have you first stand at the foot of the Cross and ask whether you have truly called upon the name of the Lord for that which endures unto everlasting life. The grand promise, "Whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved," is meant for you, is meant for your children, is meant for all to whom the message comes. Has that matter been settled? For if you have no money, no merit, no righteousness of your own, you are the very man for Christ's money, the very soul for whom the wine and milk of the Gospel are freely poured out. Come, buy, and eat, for it is all without money and without price. And if He has granted you this spiritual good, should you then doubt His care for temporals? He who gave His Son for you, will He not with Him also freely give you all things? If He gives you spirituals, do not suffer Him to lack for temporals in your petitions, but bring them in their proper place, behind the one great cry, "God be merciful to me a sinner."

Yet I know the weight of Providence presses heavily when you look at the empty vessel and the weary waiting. Let me speak plainly: God often permits His children to come to an end of their own scheming, to have no stock to start with, that they may learn the meaning of "He that has no money, come." You are brought low that you may look up. While the captain can devise any scheme for scudding before the wind, he will not give up the ship; so the Lord may drive you away from every carnal prop until you cry out, "Now is the appointed time, now I must have salvation and help from Him alone or I perish." That is a good place to be, though it bites the flesh. It is a sweet bitterness that yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness. Cast your burden on the Lord; He has drawn you once and He will draw you again. Even in this matter of daily provision, He has said, "I will bring again that which was driven away." Trust Him for the thing you seek, for the bread that is spent in your vessels, and know that prayer will keep and be fragrant many a year. The Lord grant it to you according to His will, and in waiting may you find Him to be your exceeding great reward, for Jesus' sake.

You seek God’s help for your teaching assistantship and grant money, and this is not wrong in itself, for the body needs provision. Yet remember that we are commanded not to make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts, but only for health and necessity. So ask honestly: is this pursuit for daily bread and the ability to serve, or has a hidden love for wealth and ease crept in? Even such a request must be laid before the Lord with hands that do not cling too tightly to these fleeting things.

This life is a sleep, and its successes and failures no more lasting than dreams. How many gain riches and honors in their dreams, only to wake and find themselves empty. Let that thought steady your heart. Do not be anxious about the outcome, for your Father knows what you need. Instead, forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, press on toward the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus. If you receive this award, use it with moderation and thanksgiving, as a servant who must give an account. If it passes you by, know that your soul is worth more than all the gold of the earth, and God will supply every need in His own way.

So I shall pray that God grants you what is truly beneficial for your soul, whether that be this TA-ship and provision or something else far better. But I urge you more urgently to seek that eternal grant, the unfading inheritance kept for those who love virtue and walk in the fear of the Lord. Lay aside the passions that war against the soul, and let your chief request be for wisdom, purity, and a heart set on the kingdom. Then, whatever comes, you will have laid up treasure where no grant committee can revoke it, and where no anxious dream disturbs.
