I i politely asked him to stop with noise he said he will take care of it but i hear them still after 10 min. The sam noise. Lord please remove them from tjis appartement so that can sleep. ITS 1 AM!!!!!!! I cannot sleep well after 1am

We hear your distress in this late hour and we join with you in seeking the Lord together for peace in your home. It is very difficult to be kept awake at 1am by noise above you, especially when you have already politely asked for quiet and were told it would be taken care of, yet the noise continues. We understand your frustration and your weariness.

We want to gently encourage you in how we view our neighbors, even when they are inconsiderate. The Scripture calls us to pursue peace as far as it depends on us. Romans 12:18 says, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. And Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. You did well to speak politely the first time, and we encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness or calling this young man arrogant in anger, even though his actions feel disrespectful. Matthew 5:9 says, Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God. We are called not to repay evil for evil, as 1 Peter 3:9 teaches, but to bless.

We also notice your prayer says Lord, but does not mention the name of Jesus. We want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So we always pray in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting that His sacrifice on the cross and resurrection has opened the way for us to be heard and forgiven and to have peace with God.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up our dear neighbor who is unable to sleep because of the noise above. Lord, You see the weariness and the frustration, and You know the need for rest. We ask that You would grant quiet in that apartment above, that You would move upon the heart of this young man to honor his word and to ask his friends to leave or to be quiet, so that sleep may come. Soften his heart to be considerate and respectful of those around him. Give our friend here Your peace that surpasses understanding, as Philippians 4:6-7 promises, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Lord, we pray You would guard this heart from anger and help this one to rest, for Psalm 4:8 says, I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Let Your presence bring calm over this building tonight and in the nights to come. Help our friend to continue to act with grace and patience, and if the noise continues, give wisdom to know how to seek help in a peaceful and proper way, perhaps through a calm second word or through the building management. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to try to rest in the Lord even as you wait. If the noise persists after a reasonable time, it is appropriate to speak once more very calmly and briefly, or to contact your building manager in the morning rather than engaging in repeated late night confrontation. You might also use earplugs or gentle music for tonight to help you sleep, while continuing to pray for this young man that God would work in his life and bring him to maturity and consideration for others. The Lord hears you at 1am and He cares for your rest. May He grant you quiet and peaceful sleep.

We hear how hard this night has been for you. It is past 1 a.m., you need sleep, you already went and asked politely and he said he would take care of it, and ten minutes later the same noise is still there. It is understandable to feel frustrated and tired when you have done the kind thing and it did not help.

You did right to speak calmly the first time. For tonight, if you have a way to soften the sound where you are, like earplugs or a fan, use what you have to protect what rest you can get instead of going back and forth late at night when everyone is tired. In the morning when things are calmer, it often helps to follow up once more in daylight. A short, calm note or a conversation then, or a quiet word with the building manager about the quiet hours if your building has them, can create a clear record so you do not have to carry this alone at night.

Needing sleep is not a small thing and God cares about your need for rest and peace in your home. We are praying with you for quiet and for wisdom for the next steps.

Father, we lift up our friend to You tonight. We ask for quiet in this building and for real rest. Work in the heart of this young neighbor and his friends to be considerate of those around them. Give our friend peace as he waits, help his body and mind to settle, and give him wisdom for what to say and do tomorrow. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry in the night has been heard and we join you in prayer at this weary hour when sleep is withheld and noise continues after you have kindly asked for quiet.

We know how trying it is when night follows night without rest, and you long to say, Oh that I could sleep. Remember that sleep is the gift of God. We think we lay our heads upon our pillows and therefore we naturally sleep, but it is not so. So he giveth his beloved sleep. It is the Lord who must compose the body and quiet the mind, and He can give His beloved sleep even when the world around is tossing to and fro. We pray that He will grant you that peculiar sleep tonight, that He will still the restlessness and give you a quiet conscience at peace with God, with yourself and with your neighbour, so that you may lie down and rest in Him.

We pray also for your neighbour, that young man and his friends. It is right to be vexed when wrong is done, yet remember thou hast no right to be more angry with thy neighbour than thou art with thyself. We must condemn what is unkind and inconsiderate, but let us condemn him with a tear in the eye, because we love him still. Unkindness is a strange anomaly for those who follow Christ. We pray that the Lord will work in his heart to hear your gentle request, to turn from thoughtlessness to consideration, and to show the love that seeketh not its own at the expense of another. May the Lord soften him and grant him also to know the peace that comes from Christ.

In this trial we commend to you the pearl of patience. You have heard of the patience of Job under personal affliction, and of the patience of your Lord and Master who endured much. He who tested with one hand supported with the other. Ask the Lord to give you patience to bear this provocation without bitterness, and wisdom to know how to speak again in the morning in love, and if need be to seek the proper help of those set over the house for order and peace.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, who givest sleep to Thy beloved, look upon Thy child wakeful at this late hour. Quiet the noise above and about this dwelling, still the hearts that are loud and careless, and grant the gift of sleep. Give a calm spirit, a forgiving heart, and grace to love this neighbour even while troubled by him. Bring peace to this house and to that apartment, and let Thy peace rule in both. We ask that Thou wouldst draw that young man to Thyself, that he may know Thy mercy. Restore rest to Thy weary one, and let him wake refreshed to praise Thee. May God bless you and be with you, for Jesus sake.

It is hard to be awake at one in the morning when you need sleep and the noise above you will not stop, especially after you have already asked politely and were told it would be taken care of. I am praying with you now and I hear your weariness.

God knows the need you have for rest. The psalm says He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He does not commit our rest only to our own will but has woven sleep into our nature as a gift and a healing. Even when others keep us awake, He is awake with us, He keeps watch, and He can give patience and bring a way through the trial so that it becomes bearable. The Scriptures themselves are given to nerve and comfort us, so that by living in patience we may abide in hope, and hope in turn sustains patience.

His commandments are summed up in this, to love the Lord your God and your neighbor as yourself, and to love your neighbor is to keep the commandments. We are members of one another, like a building where if one part is weakened the whole feels it, and if one part is strengthened the rest are supported. That does not make the noise less real, but it reminds us to guard our own hearts in this moment, lest out of tiredness and frustration we fall into bitterness or speak harshly. Prayer is a great good and a preservative for our souls, and it is strongest when we add to it works worthy of mercy, showing to our neighbor the mercy we ourselves want to receive from God.

Let me pray for you:

Father, have mercy and grant Your child rest tonight. Quiet the noise, soften the heart of this young man and his friends so they may hear how their actions affect others and choose to act with consideration and love for their neighbor. Give Your child patience that does not give way to anger, and hope that does not fail while waiting. Guard his foot from being moved by weariness, and let sleep come as Your gift, even now. Help him tomorrow to speak again, if needed, with calm and kindness, and provide wisdom for any practical steps that may help bring peace to the building. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our peace. Amen.

If the noise continues, try to protect your rest tonight as you are able, and tomorrow when you are rested, you may need to speak again calmly or, if necessary, seek help from a building manager or other proper authority, always with a spirit of love that seeks the good of your neighbor as well as your own peace. May the Lord keep you and give you sleep, and may He work in that apartment for quiet and goodwill.
