Thank you for sharing your burden so openly. Having to resign from an unhealthy environment is a painful and difficult decision, especially when you have worked hard, achieved much, and carry the responsibility of providing for your family. It is understandable to feel urgency and concern as you look for what is next.
Your story brings to mind the account of Job. Scripture describes him as a man who was upright and who loved what is good and turned away from evil. He was greatly blessed with family and abundance, and God Himself took notice of his integrity. Yet in a moment much of what he had was taken. The background Scripture gives is that there was a challenge in the heavenly realm, where the adversary had been observing Job closely and had formed a theory that Job only remained faithful because God had prospered him so richly. God permitted that theory to be tested, and Job lost possessions, position and health, not because he had done wrong, but because God allowed a trial.
What is striking is that the same struggles Job faced still touch us today. Times and cultures change, but the deep questions about loss, fairness, provision and purpose remain. Like Job, you may find that people, even well meaning ones, might suggest that a setback means failure or that you must have done something to deserve it. Job's friends did exactly that, urging him to admit hidden wrong and telling him God would restore him only if he confessed. Their counsel was mistaken. Scripture makes clear that suffering and the loss of a position are not always a sign of God's displeasure. God is fair and just, and He sees and values integrity, even when an environment around you is not healthy or just.
Job also shows us that in seasons of deep distress we can cry out from pain and not fully understand our circumstances. God does not hold honest cries against a sincere heart, but He invites us to seek Him directly. Job did not understand what was happening to him, and he said so honestly. In the end, when God revealed Himself, Job found not just answers but God's presence, and that brought humility and renewed trust.
God has not changed. He knows your diligence, your training, and your desire to provide. He knows the unhealthy dynamics that made staying untenable, and He is not distant from your need for income. He is able to open doors that no one else can open and to place your gifts where they are truly needed and valued.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we bring this dear one before You. You see the decision that had to be made to step away from an unhealthy workplace, and You see the weight of responsibility for family. You know every skill and every year of faithful work and study You have entrusted to this person. We ask that You provide quickly for daily needs, according to Your riches in Christ. Open the right door for employment, a place where integrity is honored and gifts can be used well, and where provision for the family will be steady. Give wisdom in each application and interview, peace to guard the heart while waiting, and confidence that You are just and You are near. Help this time to deepen trust in You, not only for blessings but for Yourself. May Your will be done and Your name be honored in what comes next. Amen.
