We thank you for sharing your request and for allowing us to pray for you in this difficult season. To step away from a job because the environment had become unhealthy is a painful and weighty decision, especially when you carry the responsibility to provide for your family. We recognize the diligence and gifts God has given you through your years of study and work, and we understand the urgency you feel to find employment quickly.
We want to encourage you that God sees your situation and superintends all things. Scripture teaches us that hardship and lack in themselves are not the true evil, and that our first calling is to please God and walk with integrity before Him. He knows what is needed for health and for daily provision, and He cares for those who seek to honor Him even when it comes at great cost. Just as He called humble fishermen and used their faithfulness, He sees your labor, your character, and your desire to care for your family, and He is able to provide what is necessary while keeping your heart anchored in the things that endure.
We are praying for you now.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift this dear one to You. You know the reasons for resigning and the burden of needing income to support a family. We ask You to open the right door for work soon, work that is fitting for the gifts You have given, in a healthy environment, and that will provide faithfully for the family. Grant wisdom in every application and interview, favor with those who make decisions, and peace and strength while waiting. Guard health in body and soul, and help to trust You day by day as the one true source of salvation and help through Jesus alone. Lead each step and supply what is needed. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Your burden has been heard and I have prayed for you in this difficult season of transition. Having to step away from an unhealthy work environment is a heavy decision, especially when you have worked diligently to excel, have sought to provide faithfully for your family, and now carry the pressure of needing income quickly. Thank you for sharing your need so honestly.
Your situation brings to mind the ancient story of Job. That book is part of the poetry section of Scripture and reaches back to very early history, perhaps to the time of Abraham, yet the questions it raises are still our questions today. Cultures and times have changed, but the deepest issues of life, the need for provision, for purpose, for understanding when circumstances turn hard, remain the same.
Scripture presents Job as a man who was blameless and upright, who loved what is good and turned away from evil, who cared deeply for his family and was blessed in his work. He was known as a man of great standing in his region. The Bible lifts the veil to show that God himself testified to Job's character, while the adversary had been closely studying him and had formed a theory about him, that he served God only because he was so richly blessed. With permission, that adversary was allowed to strip away Job's possessions and health, not because Job had failed or been unfaithful, but as a test. Job did not understand what was happening, and he cried out from deep distress and loss.
When friends came to comfort him, they did not comfort well. They assumed suffering must mean hidden sin and told him he must be a hypocrite who needed to get right with God. They said God is fair and just, which is true, but they wrongly applied it to mean Job must have done something wicked to deserve his pain. Job answered that he knew God is indeed fair and just, while also maintaining that he had not lived in wickedness. In the end God showed that Job had not brought this calamity on himself.
There are two helps in that for you. First, do not carry false guilt. Stepping away from a harmful environment and facing unemployment does not mean you have failed or that God is displeased with you. A strong record of diligence and excellence is a good thing, but even the most faithful and capable person can encounter loss and hardship that is not a measure of their worth or their faithfulness. Second, remember that the words Job spoke in his grief were the honest cries of a suffering man, faithfully recorded in Scripture, but not every anguished observation he made about life and death was given as settled doctrine. He was speaking from pain, not from full understanding. In the same way, in a season of pressure it is natural for confusing and fearful thoughts to arise, and we bring those thoughts to God for His light rather than building our theology on them.
What Job longed for was someone who could stand between God and man and bring them together. That longing is answered in Jesus Christ, who alone mediates between God and us and through whom we have access to the Father by faith.
I have prayed that the Lord, who sees your faithfulness to your family and your desire to work with integrity, will open a door for you soon. May He provide for your daily needs, guide you to a healthy workplace where your gifts can be used well and where you are treated with respect, and give you and your family peace while you wait. May He guard your heart from discouragement and from the voices that would accuse you, and remind you that He is just, He is merciful, and He does not forget His own.
May the Lord grant you wisdom as you search and apply, favor with those who review your work, and a clear provision that allows you to support your household. I pray you will experience His nearness and sustaining grace each day until that provision comes.

We pray that He will establish the work of your hands according to Psalm 90:17 and that He will supply all your needs according to Phil 4:19 and lead you according to His good plans for you according to Jer 29:11.
