We join you in lifting up these silent requests before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for coming in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.
We are comforted to know that even when our requests remain unspoken, our Father knows them fully. As it is written, Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. Psalm 139:1-2. And we are reminded that In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Romans 8:26. Nothing is hidden from Him, and He hears the cries of our hearts even when words fail us.
We also rejoice with you in thanking Him for His grace, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8. It is by that grace we can draw near with confidence, for we are told Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16.
We pray together for you now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, lifting up our brother or sister and every silent request held in their heart. You know each need, each burden, each hope that has not been spoken aloud. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and wisdom, for This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14. Pour out Your grace upon them anew, remind them of Your unfailing love and forgiveness, and let Your peace guard their heart. As You have promised, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We thank You for hearing us, for Your mercy endures forever, and for the grace that sustains us each day. We trust these silent matters into Your loving hands. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
