We join you in bringing these silent requests before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for lifting them up in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
We are comforted that the Lord knows the cries of our hearts even when we do not speak them aloud. His Word tells us, Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. Psalm 139:1-2 and also Your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. Matthew 6:8. Even when words fail us, the Spirit himself intercedes for us. In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Romans 8:26 and He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind. Romans 8:27.
We also join you in thanking Him for His grace, for it is by that grace we live and are sustained each day. We are reminded that for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8 and that it is of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23. Because of that grace we can come boldly to His throne, for we are told Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16.
We pray together now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus and we lift up every silent request represented here. You know each heart, each burden, each hope and each need that has not been spoken with words. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and Your infinite wisdom, for we know this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14. Grant peace that surpasses all understanding as we trust You with these unspoken matters. Philippians 4:7. Pour out Your grace upon us anew, help us to walk in thankfulness and obedience, and let Your will be done in each of these situations for Your glory. We thank You, Lord, for hearing us, for loving us, and for Your unending grace. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
