Beloved of All
We join you in bringing these silent requests before God with thanksgiving, for there is nothing so pleasing to Him as a thankful heart.
We give thanks with you for the grace of God which has been given to us in Jesus Christ. It is by that grace alone that we have been forgiven and made friends with God, not by our works, and yet grace saves those who are willing and who turn to Him. Having received such a gift, we do not continue in sin that grace may abound, but we show our thanksgiving not only in words but in works and in a life that seeks to please Him.
We pray that the Father, who knows what you need before you ask, would hear these unspoken requests according to His perfect will. May He fill you with His Holy Spirit, guard your heart and thoughts with His peace which passes all understanding, and give you both the desire to pray and the strength to walk in obedience. May He dispose all things for your good, even when you do not yet see how, and lead you to trust Him more fully through His Son.
We thank Him again for His mercy toward us, that while we could not save ourselves, we were saved by His gift. May your life continue to offer Him continual thanksgiving in prayer and in faithful living, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
