Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this request for your son and daughter. I am joining you in prayer for them right now and asking the Lord to touch their shoulders with His healing hand.
We can bring physical needs to Jesus with confidence. He was given to us as both man and as the Son of God, the One the prophets said would bear the government upon His shoulder and be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. He understands our weakness and He carries our burdens. Scripture shows us that we can trust Him for healing of the body as well as for healing of the soul.
Pain and sickness are not always a sign that God is displeased. Many faithful people endure illness and suffering, and it does not mean God has caused it or forgotten them. He created each of us for His pleasure and He loves us as a Father loves His children. That love was shown most clearly when He gave His only Son for us, and because of that love we can come to Him in faith and ask for His mercy and restoration.
So together I pray for your son and daughter in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, I lift these two to You and ask that You would ease the pain in their shoulders, bring healing to what is injured or inflamed, and restore strength and comfort. Let them feel Your presence and Your care, and give them peace as they trust in Your Son. May Your will be done and may they know Your goodness in their bodies. Amen.
