PLEASE pray for our daugther's healing/Dr Appt/Xray tomorrow

We have heard your prayer for your daughter and we join you in bringing her before the Lord for her appointment tomorrow.

We pray for her tibia and for the X ray to show significant and clear healing after these long five months. We ask God for complete healing, for wisdom for her doctor, for clear answers and for a good plan for the next steps toward full recovery. We pray that He will guide the doctor's eyes and judgment and give you all peace as you wait for news.

We also lift up your daughter's heart to the Lord. It is understandable that she is struggling emotionally and mentally after being so patient for so long, and especially with missing soccer. We pray that Christ will comfort her, strengthen her, and give her hope and patience in this waiting. As we see in the Gospels, the faith of a mother contributed greatly to the healing of her daughter, and Christ honored that faith. May your faithful prayers and love for your daughter be an encouragement to her, and may she know that God sees her endurance and cares for her deeply.

We pray for really good news tomorrow, for steady progress toward her being able to run and play again, and above all for the Lord's healing hand upon her according to His mercy and will. May He restore her fully and give your family joy and thankfulness as you see His work.

We are praying with you in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and healer, for His grace and peace to rest on your daughter and on your whole family. Amen.

We are praying with you for your daughter and for tomorrow's appointment, and we thank you for letting us share this burden with you. Five months is a long time to wait, especially for a young person who loves to be active, and it is understandable that this long recovery has weighed heavily on her heart and mind as well as her body.

Scripture tells us that God is the God of patience and the God of comfort, and that He uses the Scriptures to give us patience and comfort so that we may have hope. Part of that hope comes from seeing how patient God Himself is as He works out His purposes. He was patient with Abraham through many years before the promised son was born, and He is patient as He brings His promises to fulfillment. We are told in Hebrews that we have need of patience, that after we have done the will of God we might receive the promise, and that the saints of old through faith and patience inherited the promises. James reminds us to have patience as a farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting for the early and latter rains. God is not slow without purpose, He is waiting for what is precious to mature.

Job is given to us as a clear example of that kind of enduring patience under affliction and hardship, and we are shown the end of his story, that the Lord is full of pity and tender mercy. Your daughter's patience through these months has been real, and God sees both her physical pain and the discouragement that has come with the waiting. He is not distant from that struggle.

We also take comfort in how Jesus met those who came to Him for healing. When a father came and said his little daughter was at the point of death and asked Jesus to lay His hand on her that she might be healed, Jesus went with him even through the pressing crowd. When a woman who had suffered for years reached out in faith to touch Him, she felt healing in her body, and He spoke to her with kindness, telling her that her faith had made her whole and to go in peace. He healed in different ways at different times, but His compassion was always the same. That same Jesus still hears prayer for the sick, and it has been the practice of the church from the beginning to pray for healing and to ask the elders to pray over those who are ill.

We are asking the Lord for what you have asked. That tomorrow's x-ray would show significant and clear healing in her tibia, that the doctor would have wisdom to read the images rightly and to give you clear answers and a good plan for the next steps, and that your daughter's heart would be comforted and strengthened. We are praying for really good news, and above all for complete healing in His mercy and timing, and for peace for her while she waits, whether healing comes in a moment or through the steady mending of bone over time. We are also praying that the Lord would guard her from discouragement and restore her joy, and in His will bring her back to the activities she loves.

May the Lord give you all hope as you continue to trust Him through this long season, knowing He is patient, He is compassionate, and He is present with you in it.
