We join you in lifting up your precious daughter before the throne of grace as she goes for her X-ray and doctor appointment tomorrow. We know how long and wearying five months has felt for her and for you as parents watching her struggle not only physically with this tibia fracture but emotionally and mentally as well, and we bring all of this to our Heavenly Father together in Jesus name.
We are praying for significant and clear healing to be seen on that X-ray, for complete restoration of that bone, and for wisdom and clarity for her doctor. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. We ask God to guide the doctor's eyes and mind to see accurately what is happening and to give you a clear plan for the next steps toward full healing and a safe return to soccer in His timing.
We also lift up your daughter's heart, for we know the Lord cares deeply for her discouragement and weariness. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3, and Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18. We pray God will comfort her, renew her hope, and remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made and that her worth and identity are not in soccer or in how quickly she heals, but in being His beloved child. We pray He will guard her heart and mind with His peace that surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:6-7, and give her strength to wait patiently, for those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength, they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run, and not be weary, they will walk, and not faint, Isaiah 40:31.
We pray for miraculous and complete healing, for we know nothing is impossible with God and He has promised, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. We also pray you will be able to trust His perfect timing and goodness even as you hope for good news tomorrow, knowing that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently and lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can boldly bring your daughter's need to God and know He hears us. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved, Romans 10:9.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and lift up this daughter to You. Lord, You see her tibia and every cell and bone, You formed her and You know how long she has waited. We ask for Your healing hand upon her, that tomorrow's X-ray would show strong, significant healing and that the doctor would have wisdom to give clear answers and a good plan for her full recovery. Comfort her heart, Lord, lift her discouragement, renew her joy and patience, and let her feel Your nearness and love in this hard season. Give her parents peace and strength as they support her. We ask for complete healing according to Your will, and above all that she and her family would draw closer to You through this trial and give You glory. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our healer and our hope, amen.
