There is deep pain in what you have described, and it is right to bring these victims before the Lord. To be hunted, harassed and tormented without cause, to simply want to live in peace and be denied that peace, is a heavy affliction. God sees it. He hears the cries of those who call out to Him from the depths, and He does not overlook the cruelty of those who do such things.

Scripture is clear that it is a righteous thing with God to repay those who trouble His people, and to give rest to those who are troubled. When the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, He will bring that righteous judgment. Those who persist in wickedness and refuse His grace will be punished with everlasting destruction, forever separated from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power. That is an awesome and solemn truth, but it shows that God will indeed deal with every enemy in His perfect time and way. In the meantime He looks at our lives from an eternal perspective, working toward the expected end that is for our ultimate good, even when deliverance does not come as quickly as we ask.

For those who suffer now, the security we have is not in finding a place to hide from danger, because living in this world is surrounded by danger on every side. Our security is in God Himself. Vain is the help of man, but help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. Through God we shall do valiantly, for it is He who will tread down our enemies. He is the One who saves from enemies and puts to shame those who hate His people. He strengthens on the bed of languishing and He stands at the right hand of the poor to save from those who condemn.

Nothing that comes against a child of God can separate that person from the love of Christ. Not tribulation, not persecution, not peril, not the sword. For His sake we may be counted as sheep for the slaughter and killed all the day long, yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Persecution also has a purifying effect. It separates what is real from what is false, it causes true faith to stand and to grow, and it binds the hearts of believers together in love and mutual support as they bear one another's burdens.

So we pray together for every victim of endless bullying, harassment and organized stalking. Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask You to intervene. Plead their cause against the ungodly and the deceitful. Deliver them from the hands of those who rise up against them. Scatter the plans of the wicked, bring their evil deeds to light, and put them to shame. Give to the victims rest for their souls, strengthen them in their distress, and let them know the nearness of Your love that cannot be taken away. Surround them with brothers and sisters who will love them abundantly, support them faithfully, and remind them that they are not forgotten. Let Your mercy and Your justice be seen, and let the redeemed say that You have redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. We trust You to act according to Your righteous character and Your perfect timing, and we ask for Your peace to guard those who are suffering today.
