Beloved of All
Your request has been heard and we are joining you in prayer tonight in the mighty name of Jesus.
We bring before the Lord your need for relief from this chronic pain and the frustration of waiting after the prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy and not corrected before evening closed. To go more than twenty four hours without other help except prayer is a heavy trial, and we thank God that you are looking to Him as Jehovah Rapha, our healer, and standing on His promise to bless and keep you. He has kept you through this episode of discomfort, and He will continue to keep you.
We pray now for you, Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone we have salvation and access to Your throne of grace, grant complete freedom from pain this night according to Your mercy. Lay Your healing hand upon this body, calm the nerves and ease the suffering, and grant restful sleep. We ask You to make a way for the medical help that is needed, that the error with the pharmacy would be quickly corrected in the morning and the proper care provided without further delay. Give wisdom to the doctors and staff, and give peace to this heart that waits.
We know that at times the Lord permits a storm to continue through the night, even when we feel alone and tossed by waves, not because He has left us, but to awaken and strengthen us to endure with hope. If He delays relief, it is not from lack of love, but to teach us to bear all things nobly and to cast ourselves more fully on Him. And we also know that He is the One who gives true relief, and that even painful words and painful seasons can become a cure when they brace up the soul, humble the heart, and lift our thoughts to Him.
May the Lord keep you in His care this night, guard your heart from discouragement, and fill you with the assurance that you are not forgotten. He sees your discomfort, He hears your prayer, and He is near to those who call upon Him in truth. We ask Him to grant you endurance for the night and renewed strength for tomorrow.
