REALLY STRUGGLING PLEASE PRAY

TrindaD

Humble Prayer Partner
I am trying so hard, but the more I do the right thing, the more problems I am having. I pray, attend church, and read the bible. I do my best to help others but the problems linger and I am requesting prayer. First I ask for prayer for the mentally ill client that threatened me on the phone Friday. I was only explaining the company policy and became enraged. I notified appropriate people. Please pray for my safety, my family's safety, and my personal property.
Please pray for my mom who has late stage kidney disease. I know she wants the best for me and a great companion.
I am still single and struggling to find my Boaz. After my ex called off the engagement a few years ago due to me stopping fornication, I met another man recently through my relatives 2 weeks ago. His phone conversations were mainly talking about his job and family, or how beautiful I looked. We attended a cookout Saturday night and we made plans to go out the next day. After I returned from church I called him and his voicemail was not set up, an hour later I sent a text to check on his well being, and he didn't call back until late that night telling me he was sick and slept all day. Red flags went off. The next day when he sent me a good morning text. I told him it would have been appreciated if he could have let me know he was sick either by text or phone call and that I had waited the entire day wondering what happen. I sent him a text that I didn't feel we are a good fit and that the communication is not there. We were not dating because it was too early in the relationship. But now I question if I did the right thing because I'm single again and tired.
I have grown tired and depressed.

We hear your heart and we are standing with you in prayer together in Jesus name in this difficult season. We know how discouraging it feels when you are trying to do the right thing, praying, attending church, reading the Bible and helping others, yet problems linger and even increase. We want to encourage you not to grow weary, for the Word says let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up Galatians 6:9. Trials do not mean God has abandoned you, they are often the refining that builds endurance, as James tells us to count it all joy when we fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of our faith produces endurance James 1:2-3. And we are reminded that in all things God works for good for those who love him, who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

We lift up your safety and the safety of your family and your personal property after that threatening phone call. You did the right thing in explaining company policy calmly and notifying the appropriate people. We pray for the Lord to be your refuge and fortress, for he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. We ask that no weapon formed against you will prosper and that the Lord will command his angels concerning you to guard you Psalm 91:11. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. We also pray for that client who is mentally ill and became enraged, that God would have mercy on him, bring him peace of mind, healing and the help he needs, and that any anger in him would be calmed and he would not act to harm you or others.

We join you in prayer for your mom who has late stage kidney disease. We know how heavy this is to watch a mother suffer, and we thank God for her love for you and her desire for you to have a great companion. That desire is good and godly when it points toward a marriage that honors the Lord. We pray for her healing and comfort, for the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. We ask for his healing hand upon her according to his will, for he has promised I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17, and for strength and peace for you as you care and intercede for her.

We want to speak to your journey toward marriage, and we commend you for the courageous stand you took when you stopped fornication, even though it cost you an engagement. That was obedience to God and it was the right thing to do. The Bible is clear that we are to flee sexual immorality, for every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18, and that marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4. Marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman ordained by God, and we believe courtship should be with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, not simply a boyfriend or girlfriend or partner relationship. To be unequally yoked with an unbeliever brings sorrow 2 Corinthians 6:14, so we pray for a godly husband for you, a true Boaz who will love the Lord first and love you as Christ loves the church. He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22.

Regarding the man you met through relatives just two weeks ago, we understand your disappointment and the red flags you sensed. Two weeks is very early, and you were not yet dating, you were discerning, which is wise. Good communication is essential for a future marriage, and it is not wrong to have expectations for consideration and honesty, like a simple text or call when plans change. You were right to express how his lack of communication made you feel, and you were right to step back if you sensed the communication and fit were not there. Do not condemn yourself for acting with discernment, but also guard against making decisions out of weariness and loneliness. Ask God for wisdom, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach James 1:5. We pray God will give you clarity whether that door should remain closed or whether you acted too quickly, and above all that you will not settle out of tiredness but wait for the godly spouse God has for you.

We also hear that you have grown tired and depressed, and we do not take that lightly. The Lord sees your weariness and he invites you to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. When you are anxious, we are told in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We pray against that heaviness and ask God to lift you up, for why are you in despair, my soul, why are you disturbed within me, hope in God Psalm 42:11. Fear not, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We noticed your request speaks of prayer and church and the Bible but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that he died for your sins and rose again, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister who is weary and struggling. Lord, surround her and her family and her home with your protection, let no harm come near them, and bring peace to the man who threatened her. Touch her mother, Lord, ease her suffering from kidney disease, grant her strength and if it be your will, restore her health, and comfort them both with your presence. Forgive us for our sins and cleanse us, and thank you for our sister's obedience to turn from fornication, honor her faithfulness and keep her pure until marriage. Lead her to a godly husband who loves you, a man of integrity and kindness who will pursue her with clear and caring communication, and give her discernment and patience to wait on your timing and not grow tired in well doing. Lift her depression, renew her strength, fill her with your joy and peace that passes understanding, and remind her daily that you love her and you are working all things for her good. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.

I lift up this single christian who is faithful and weary! Refresh her soul, God your word says you have good plans for us for a hope and future! Help this daughter be refreshed and hopeful for a good christian man of respect and ready for marriage! In Jesus name Amen

We hear how heavy this has felt, trying to do the right things and still facing one hard thing after another. It makes sense you feel tired and discouraged, and we are grateful you reached out so we can pray with you.

We are glad you notified the appropriate people after that threatening call on Friday. Please keep following your workplace guidance for safety, document anything further, and let your supervisor and a trusted person at home know if anything else happens so you are not carrying that worry alone. We are praying for your safety and your family's peace and protection.

We are also lifting your mom as she lives with late stage kidney disease, and we understand how much you want to honor her while also longing for companionship. After your engagement ended and now this recent disappointment, it is understandable to question yourself. Wanting clear, respectful communication is reasonable, and stepping back when that was missing was not unkind. It is okay to give yourself time to rest instead of rushing to figure out what it all means.

When tiredness and discouragement linger, it helps to have steady support close by. If you can, please share how you have been feeling with your pastor and with a counselor or medical professional, alongside prayer, so someone can walk with you in person and help you get care and rest.

Father, we bring our sister to You in Jesus' name. Cover her and her family with Your protection and calm her heart at work and at home. Comfort her mom and give wisdom to those caring for her. Lift this weariness and guide our sister day by day, reminding her she is seen and not alone. Lead her in Your will and give her hope for the days ahead. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

🙌 Thank You the Victory is the LORD's, Prov 21:31. You keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, temptation and evil, Matt 6:13, evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15. 🙌 By prayer and supplication with thanksgiving we let our requests be made known to God. And the PEACE of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7. In Jesus are all the promises, therefore Our Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20, in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14.

Your letter has been received with deep tenderness and we have brought your burdens before the throne of grace in prayer.

We thank God that you are seeking to walk in obedience. To choose purity when it costs you an engagement is no small thing, and it is a good resolution grounded in a good reason, for the Lord has commanded that intimacy belongs within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. Whenever a soul makes such a resolution before God, it ought to adhere to it and carry it out to the fullest extent, though the world may forsake you for it. Know that your obedience is not in vain. The elders obtained a good report through faith and obedience, and though doing the right thing has brought you sorrow rather than ease, there is a happiness promised to those who not only know the truth but do it.

We have prayed for your safety and for the protection of your family and your property after the threat you received. The Lord sees the malice that was spoken against you when you were only doing your duty with faithfulness. We ask Him to keep you under the shadow of His wing, to restrain evil, to give wisdom to those in authority to whom you have reported this matter, and to grant you peace as you continue your work with diligence and kindness.

We have prayed also for your dear mother in her late stage of kidney disease. The Lord knows her frame and numbers her days, and He hears the prayers of a daughter for her mother. We ask Him to ease her sufferings, to sustain her body as it pleases Him, to comfort her heart with His presence, and to give you both grace for each day He appoints.

Concerning your loneliness and weariness, we feel the weight of your words. You have prayed, you have kept to the house of God, you have searched the Scriptures and sought to help others, and yet problems linger and the heart grows tired and cast down. Remember that our blessed Savior Himself knew this loneliness. He was left alone just when as Man He most needed human sympathy, and He can enter fully into your sorrow. There are seasons when the faithful soul will greatly vex even good people by choosing the narrow way, and will feel forsaken, yet Christ has said, I am not alone, because the Father is with me. You are not alone. The Father is with you, and He permits these bitter medicines not to destroy you but to work together for your good.

You acted with wisdom regarding the man you recently met. To observe how a man communicates, to value honesty and consideration, and to speak plainly when your time and trust were not regarded, is not harshness but prudence. It was right to tell him that you had waited in uncertainty and that such communication is needful. That you ended contact early, before any vows or entanglements, when you discerned you were not suited, is not a failure to be lamented but discernment to be thanked for. Two weeks is a short time to know a character, and a man worthy to be called a Boaz will be known by steadfastness, purity, and selfless care, not merely by compliments. Do not question whether you should have lowered a right standard simply because you are tired of waiting. To be single and tired is painful, but to be unequally bound or poorly matched brings a deeper sorrow. Wait upon the Lord, continue in prayer, and keep your resolution for purity without wavering.

For your weariness and depression, we pray that the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, would enable you to rejoice not in earthly circumstances which shift, but in God Himself who is Goodness itself. When you become nothing in your own strength, having no good feelings to bring to Christ, come to Him not with a broken heart only, but for a broken heart, and He will receive you. Keep up your communion with Christ, lest service and even good works become mere routine. He is pleading for you even now.

May the Lord lift your eyes to Himself, keep you zealous of good works which He has commanded, and give you strength to perform the doing of what you have resolved for His glory. We will continue to pray that He will guard you, heal and comfort your mother according to His perfect will, provide for you a godly companion if it be His will to give one, and above all, make Christ Himself your portion and joy until every tear is wiped away.
