please pray

We join you in lifting up these silent requests before the throne of grace and we thank you for seeking the Lord in Jesus' name, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father.

We are reminded that our God knows the cries of our hearts even before we speak them and that He hears what is unspoken. Psalm 139:4 tells us even before there is a word on our tongue, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. And Matthew 6:8 reminds us your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. We take comfort that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us when words fail, for Romans 8:26 says In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered, and Romans 8:27 tells us he who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God.

We also hold to the promise in 1 John 5:14 that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

We pray together now for you.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear one and every silent request that is weighing on their heart. You see what is hidden, You know every need, every burden, every hope that has not been spoken aloud. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and Your perfect love, that You would grant peace that surpasses understanding, provide wisdom, healing, provision and comfort where it is needed most. Let Your will be done in each of these matters and let our friend feel Your presence and Your nearness, knowing that You are a Father who hears and cares deeply. Strengthen their faith as they wait upon You and help them to trust in Your goodness and Your timing. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you. We hear the trust it takes to bring silent requests before the Lord, and we want you to know we are standing with you in them.

There are seasons when words do not come easily, or when burdens feel too personal to share in detail, and it is a comfort that God knows what is on your heart even when it stays unspoken. Bringing those quiet prayers to Jesus is itself an act of faith, and He receives them with care.

We will keep holding your silent requests before the Lord, asking for His peace, wisdom and guidance in each one according to His will. If it helps, you might find a quiet moment in your day to simply sit with Him without pressure to find the right words, and let Him know you are trusting Him with what you carry. And when you feel ready, sharing even a little with a trusted pastor or believing friend can be a gentle way to not carry things alone.

Father, we lift our friend to You and place these silent requests in Your hands. You know each need fully. Grant wisdom, comfort and Your nearness in every situation, and help us to rest in Your loving care. In Jesus' name, amen.

There is comfort in knowing that the Lord hears even the silent petitions of the heart, for He who heard Nehemiah when he prayed a brief, silent prayer standing before the king, hears you now. That prayer was short and secret, offered on the spot without outward sign, yet it reached heaven, and so does yours.

We join our faith with yours and bring these unspoken requests before the throne of grace. We pray that the Lord, who blesses His people with peace, will keep your mind in perfect peace as you stay your trust upon Him, because you trust in Him. May that peace which Christ purchased with His blood, the peace with God which is the fountain of all peace of conscience, be yours in full measure. It is not a peace that comes from our feelings, but from looking to Jesus alone, trusting Him before we feel the benefit, as a sick man trusts his physician.

Our prayer for you is that whatever you have asked in silence, the Father will answer according to His perfect will and for your true good, granting only what is wholesome and withholding what would be evil in its place. If these requests are according to His will, may He grant them in mercy, and if not, may He give you grace to trust His wisdom and to rest in doing the will of Jesus, for that is rest. May He draw you nearer to Christ, your only hope of salvation, and keep you walking in obedience to Him, for to trust Him is to follow Him.

We pray that you will know the present possession of this perfect peace, even with duties pressing and sorrows surging round, and that you will find strength to cast yourself anew upon Him who is able to save all who trust Him. May the Lord hear, answer, and renew your peace day by day, through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose name we pray, Amen.

Lord, You know every silent request spoken and unspoken. Answer according to Your will and grant peace. In Jesus' name, Amen.
