We lift this prayer to the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears and answers the cries of His children. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank you for acknowledging Jesus in your request, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Father God, we come before You now, standing in the gap for this family, asking for Your divine protection to surround them like a mighty fortress. We pray that You would be a shield about them, a wall of fire around them, and a hedge of thorns against any plans of the enemy (Zechariah 2:5, Psalm 91:4). Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
Lord, we also lift up the silent requests of this family, knowing that You see and know the deepest longings of their hearts even before they speak them (Psalm 139:4). We ask that You would move mightily in each situation, bringing Your perfect will to pass. Whether it is healing, provision, restoration, or guidance, we trust in Your unfailing love and power to work all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take root in their lives. For You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that this family would walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding, keeping their hearts and minds secure in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we also pray for unity and love to abound in this family. May they be knit together in love, bearing with one another in patience and kindness (Colossians 3:12-14). Let Your love be the foundation of their home, and may they seek You first in all things, knowing that You will add all else unto them (Matthew 6:33).
We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no harm shall come to them. We stand against any schemes of the enemy designed to steal, kill, or destroy, for Jesus came that they may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. We trust in You alone, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
