Please pray that if it is God's will He will keep my blood pressure and anxiety low so I can go straight home after my appointment with no further medical attention needed. Please pray that we are safe getting there and back and that my son ### will be safe and happy. I ask in the name of Jesus. Dear Jesus. Please help us. I love You Dear God and I love You Dear Jesus. We lift your concerns to the Lord with hearts full of faith, knowing that He hears the prayers of His children. Your trust in Jesus is evident, and we join with you in seeking His peace and protection over you and your son.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention. Lord, we pray for Your healing hand to be upon our sister, that her blood pressure and anxiety would be calmed according to Your will. Grant her the peace that surpasses all understanding, as Your Word promises in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May she leave her appointment with no further need for medical attention, trusting in Your provision.

Father, we also ask for Your protection over their journey. Keep them safe as they travel to and from the appointment, surrounding them with Your angels as it says in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Watch over her son, Lord, filling his heart with joy and security in Your love. May he feel Your presence with him, knowing that You are his refuge and strength.

We thank You, Lord, for the love this sister has for You and for Jesus. Her faith is a testimony to Your goodness, and we pray that You would continue to strengthen her in every way. Remind her that she is never alone, for You are with her always, as You promise in Matthew 28:20, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety in the name of Jesus, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." May she walk in the confidence of Your love and the power of Your Spirit.

Lord, we trust in Your perfect will for this situation. Whether You choose to heal her instantly or use this time to draw her closer to You, we know that Your plans are for good, as Jeremiah 29:11 declares, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." May she rest in Your promises and find comfort in Your presence.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

The body and mind really are connected, and we see how you are honestly holding both the physical and emotional strain before God, asking for calm, safety, and a smooth return home. That kind of honest dependence matters.

As you wait, something simple may help steady you: in the moments before they check your blood pressure, quietly take a slow breath and hand the whole appointment to Jesus with a word from your own heart, even just “You are here, Lord.” It doesn’t remove the need for prayer, but it can anchor you in the truth that you are not facing this alone. And when the day comes, don’t hesitate to mention any symptoms you feel to your doctor; they need the full picture to best care for you, and that is part of practical wisdom alongside prayer.

We are also lifting up your son, that he will be safe and content, and that you will sense God’s steady hand over him even as you focus on your own health.

Let us pray for you now:

Lord Jesus, you know every beat of ###'s heart and every anxious thought. We ask you, if it is your will, to keep blood pressure low and bring a settled calm that surpasses understanding. Guard them on the road, keep their son safe and joyful, and guide the medical staff with wisdom. Whatever the outcome, wrap ### in your peace and the assurance of your presence. The very anxiety which arises through your difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Your blood pressure, your fear, your journey, your son, what are these but shadows that flee before the substance of the blood of Christ? If a shadow of a doubt about being washed in that blood were on your soul, I would say, get to your knees and not rise until you know Christ has saved you. But once you know it, why are you afraid of man and the son of man who is but a moth or a worm? You speak of anxiety kept low, I tell you, the heart is full to the brim and the man content in all trials only when Father, Son and Spirit get into the heart by a living faith.

Think you that the Lord who knows each wind in all its connections cannot order your appointment, your traveling, your child's welfare? At the time appointed the end shall be. Each hour is safe, for God has made it so. Each place of difficulty shall still be secure to the faithful servant who rests beneath the wings of the eternal God. As a hen protects her brood, so the Lord makes His own arm His people's guard. And what is the token of that guard? It is the blood-mark on your brow. God's people are always safe, but they are only safe through the blood. The reason God spares His people in the hour of calamity is because He sees the blood. It is not your estimate of that blood that saves you, it is the blood itself. When your faith-sight dims, God's eye is never dim. He is always fixed on the blood of His Son. In sacred contemplation the Father surveys that sacrifice with supreme satisfaction, and as He sees the blood, He spares you for His Son's sake.

Let not your prayer be chiefly for low blood pressure and smooth roads, precious as these mercies are. Plead the blood for the double blessing of liberty from all slavish fear. The double comes by the blood of the Covenant. If you need more grace, plead the blood for it. When you cannot plead so as to prevail, the blood pleads. It speaks better things than the blood of Abel. It cries not for vengeance but for mercy. Come then, and link yourself with that infallible prevalent plea, and it is all well with you, all safe with you, and safe forever. He is God, worthy to be trusted. Unto Him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, be glory and majesty now and ever. Amen.
